Had an amazing arepa here! I ordered an arepa pabellón, and it was absolutely delicious! I just knew I had to come back..and came back the next day! Ordered una arepa reina pepiada, and a tamarind juice and OMG. The tamarind juice was on point!! And not overly sweet, which I absolutely loved! Definitely worth trying everything on their menu, I will be coming back for the yuca con cochino, that is my next one to try.
This was a GEM of a find! This is in a small grocery store, there were 4 or 5 tall tables that fit 4 or so each, and the person who helped us was extremely friendly and inviting.
The food was PHENOMENAL. It really hit the spot. The person who took our order brought us some pan de hamon as a treat, which we loved and wished we had room to eat more of. That little bit of extra kindness was so lovely.
