I love this cafe! The staff are so personable - they remembered my name from early on and always greet me by name, all the food and treats are homemade, and they have the most delicious drinks! I would highly recommend this place for anyone in the area wanting lunch, coffee, or a sweet treat!

Scratch Baking & Cafe is my favorite little spot to go to when I'm in the downtown area for appointments! Serena and her staff are such warm and welcoming people and I love to chat with them as I sit and have a snack! Love the chicken wraps they have and you can taste the love that goes into their baked goods. I love it here!! 🥰

Fantastic place for lunch. The ladies are super welcoming and they make fricken fantastic food. Go to's are the BLTS, ceaser wraps, dill pickle soup, tomato macaroni soup. 100% recommend coming here!

Very nice people.
The baked goods, though, are the kind of thing you would politely eat if made by a well-intentioned grandchild, but not worth buying.
I tried a selection of them and hope that the soup sandwiches are better.

Had a very tasty lunch special at Scratch today. The pickle soup, perogies and sausages were great. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. Will be going back.

Atrocious Caesar salad. Overpriced, the chicken was gristly and the dressing was terribly bland. Ever since this place was rebranded it sadly seems to have gone downhill.

My new favourite little Cafe. What a treat it is to have Scratch just a stones throw from my workplace. The staff is always a pleasure to see and chat with. If you haven't tried their Highland Grogg brew, you haven't lived. Can't start my day without it. Thanks!

I have eaten here twice, once before they re-branded and afterwards. The food was fine (latte and cupcake) and service acceptable. I would come more often if the prices were posted on their wall; I avoid going in there because of that reason . The market price argument works for items like steak, lobster, etc, but not for a cafe.

This establishment is serving up great coffee, fresh baked goods and homemade sandwiches. The service here is hospitable and you are always greeted with a smile and a hello. During the holiday season, the interior was wonderfully refreshed, enhancing an already warm and welcoming atmosphere. Convenient location and hours keeps me coming back regularly, as does the generous rewards program they offer. Ask them about catering also. They are a true reflection of, and embody the spirit to support local business—something they absolutely deserve.

Whatever you do.. do NOT get their breakfast wrap. It is the size of a taquito, and costs $4.50.

Wow! Scratch baking is amazing! The owner Serena and her team are so personable and kind it is a pleasure to see their beautiful faces every morning! Honestly they legitimately make the best Latte in Edmonton! They specialize in homemade baked goods, treats, and sandwiches too! I highly recommend them! It has become my go to place and is a treasure!!!

What a nice little hidden gem this place is!! Incredible food and management! The manager Ally cooks from scratch and is always going above and beyond with her customer service. It’s just a shame that it’s overshadowed by all the other employees standing around on their phones, including the owners. These optics ruin the dine in experience and if you hope to stay relevant you have to put your customers first. Every time I’m in Ally is the only one to greet me and provide an amazing experience, all the other staff there are too busy on their phones it seems like. You never know who’s walking into your establishment so it’s important to greet every customer accordingly. I only return because of Ally, other than that I wouldn’t even give this place a second look
