I use to go here all the time. For over a decade. I lived across the street for 10 years. It WAS clean, welcoming and a great place to get a coffee. Stopped by last week. It's dirty, gross and un kept. And that's putting it nicely. We asked for peppermint tea. They had none. Or any other for that matter. We wanted a decaffeinated tea. The person offered us cafffinated green tea! Or wild berry. What kind of coffee shop doesn't have tea. We reluctantly ordered a coffee. Big mistake. While we were trying to enjoy our drinks an employee came through the front door with a grocery cart!! Full of milk. Didn't use the back door. It's so ghetto. I wish i could give negative 5 stars. I WILL NEVER GO BACK.
Hardi always makes the best iced lattes and she is extremely friendly with such a nice personality 💕
I’ve been visiting this cafe for a few years now, and not once was I disappointed in either staff or the quality of the coffee. It’s a legitimate alternative to Starbucks, and I for one prefer to support local companies. I like coffee here even more, but one thing for sure: it’s a much more tired-looking place compared to Starbucks. You can tell it’s been here for a while without a renovation. The chairs are old, the tables are old, and the interior is old, with water-damaged ceiling and old-fashioned branding. Also, there is no food at all, which is disappointing. It’s not a deal-breaker, but somewhat hurts the overall vibe. But in the end, I chose this place for its staff and drinks.
A Canadian must have!! This is a great coffee spot from the usual Tim's or Starbs and offers some interesting beverages. Some of our favorites include the London Fog, the Honey Vanilla Tea Latte, and a newly added Hot Chocolate Hazelnut Latte. They have some amazing baked goods as well, including some yummy scone flavors. A definite visit for your next coffee run or date.
I recently visited Second Cup and had a great experience! I ordered the Caramel Corretto, which was smooth, rich, and had just the right amount of sweetness. I paired it with the Egg White, Pesto & Swiss on Naan, and it was delicious—light but flavorful, with a nice balance from the pesto and melted Swiss cheese.
A special shoutout to Hardi, one of the staff members, who was super friendly and welcoming. She let me know I could enjoy my drink and meal inside, which made the experience even more comfortable. It’s always nice when someone takes that little extra step to make you feel at home.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
They make the best Reddog Smoothie!
This location used to be my favorite. I live across the street from it lately. It has been ridiculous. Three times in a row I ordered a chai tea latte and was served a coffee with no sugar and barely any cream. Now yesterday I went to the location at 7:45 the inside and the outside of the store were closed. Their time posted is at 8 PM. Today I went in and I found out that the drive-through closes at 7:30 although there's no signage of this. Honestly, I'm very loyal to Second Cup but I think I'm gonna have to change the locations. The staff here are not the best anymore.
The girl working in the evening was kind, friendly and made one of the best coffee I have ordered at second cup!
The girl who works in the evening is very friendly and nice. I had ordered caramel corretto which was great!
I used to love this place. The old baristas were friendly, clean, and made amazing drinks. Today, the drink I was handed and the service I received was embarrassingly bad. The “barista” buried the steam wand in the bottom of the milk jug and didn’t touch it to add any air or texture the milk. When the milk was poured there wasn’t a single bubble of foam. For $6.77, I received a lukewarm, bad tasting, miserable looking mocha. When I asked for a refund, I had to watch the girl try to count the change for more than a minute. I finally had to point to a quarter in the cash and tell her she needed to give me three of them along with the six dollars. Why bother buying a café when you can’t even make a basic drink. How could Second Cup allow an owner to ruin their brand with such bad quality and service?

Freindly and great service.come here all the time, love the chairs.thanks.
I generally enjoy Second Cup and prefer it over their bigger competitors. However, within the last few months every time I visit this location, my order is wrong. The wrong size drink, the wrong cookie, etc. Today I ordered a vanilla bean latte with half the vanilla syrup. I noticed after I got home that I actually got a latte with lactose free milk. It costs more, and it tasted off - I'm not sure if the milk was bad or what. I ended up dumping it because its a 20 min drive for me to go back to the store.
I went through the drive through a couple times in the morning and this one staff member has always been memorable. Very accommodating, kind, and overall great customer service
Bad service. Very long wait times for a drink or two because they staff one person to cover inside and drive-thru
Kind and generous staff! Excellent study and chill spot in the north
