Easily becoming one of my favourite restaurants in town. Great location with free parking, delicious and high quality food, but the real winner is the amazing service. Makes it worth dining out again.

Was recited to try this place, great location and ambiance.Service was decent, our server was nice.Food is below average unfortunately. Chili wontons felt cheap, really thick dough and not enough filling. Drunken clams were very strong in sake, broth was unsippable, needs tweaking IMO. Sushi is average or below average. Way better places available in town for sushi. Not satisfied overall with the food though price point was fine.

One of few izakayas in town and overall, it's not bad. Nice-looking with some pretty tasty offerings. The clams are quite nice and we really liked the chicken nanban. The place could have better wooden chopsticks though but that's just being really picky.

I feel like the food would have been excellent if there was a better chef making it. Two entrees, two appetizers, and a couple of drinks cost us 140 dollars. We both were pretty disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone. Service was incredibly slow.

We've ordered the totoroll and mushroom cream udon for afternoon snacks. The dishes were very good but found the service slow for 3 tables occupied at the patio and we were the only ones inside. Slow as the kitchen was slow, our server was great, though!

I came here the first time with my coworkers and returned for a birthday because the food is amazing and Lin, our server, is incredibly personable. She went out of her way to get us candles for a surprise ube matcha panna cotta which was delicious! Highly recommend!

The place is cozy and the happy hour was absolutely wonderful. My wife and I were strolling around the are when I saw their unique style of restaurant. I love the service, Omg., the server, Lyn - , was 100% accommodating, kind and certainly gave us the best suggestions. We will definitely be back. -KC /

The music was very loud and it was extremely cold, but when I asked for a Sapporo, they didn't have it. They didn't have any Japanese beer. The Bento box I got was so plain it was not worth the twenty dollars, though my mom's Mushroom Udon was delicious. I would highly recommend going elsewhere unless you want plain Maki rolls or fancy highballs. To be fair, the waiter offered alternatives and tried his best with their limited offerings.

Haven't been to the brick and mortar restaurant yet, but had a sample at Taste of Edmonton, and oh wow. Can't wait to go to the restaurant, cause I've heard the energy they had at the food fest stall is even better there. Shrimp sliders are a game changer.

We live in the area & it was our first time trying this restaurant and it was such a lovely experience. The creamy mushroom udon was outstanding & the chilly oil dumplings were sooo delicious. We are so excited to come back and try more dishes! Would highly recommend for delicious & unique Japanese dishes.
Parking: Parking is easy because the restaurant is near a grocery store with ample parking.

The food is over priced and deafimg the purpose of going to Izakaya. Eating and drinking in Izakaya is all about doing it cheaply. I ordered rice pizza for 10 $. I am sorry to say but it was horrible. Taste wasnt so good. It is not at my expectation. I am Japanese so I know what I am talking about. The service, location and atmosphere were great though.

Decided to check this place out with a friend. We got some assorted sashimi to start - it was kind of underwhelming to be honest. Average at best freshness that puts it on par with most Edmonton offerings (with a noticeable tinge of frozen taste? ) We weren't that impressed but it was still adequate sashimi, just nowhere near the best I've had even in town. The mushroom cream udon however was a great redeemer - absolutely creamy and tasty. I added some crispy chicken thigh into it and it definitely added a crispy, meaty dimension to the dish. Would come back for solely the udon.Overall, great ambience, music was not too loud on the patio (it is below ground level.) Might have to try another time for the fish again, but the udon will make me want to come back.

Went for late night noms. Food is good, BUT the service is not so great to be honest, definitely disappointed. Nice waiter but not attentive at all and the girl at the end just the worst. Cleaning the table when we are still there is fine, but she was so rushed and careless and spill food.
Amazing food. Our server was fantastic. Gave great recommendations, and was sooo friendly. I loved the vibe. I can’t wait to be back!
