I tried the food from Shimiaodao Yunnan Rice Noodle after seeing the restaurant along some of my drives over the past few months. I got the Szechuan Pepper Fish Rice Noodle Soup. The soup had a lot of flavour and a nice szechuan spicy numbing sensation. It also went really well with the noodles. There were also a variety of items in it including fish fillet, fish tofu, quail egg, crab stick, mushroom, tofu, corn, ham, spam, etc. I’d give this item 8.8/10

If you're craving hot soup with some tasty noodles, Shimiaodao Yunnan rice noodle is the place to go! Here, they serve various noodle dishes, some dry noodle dishes, and an assortment of appetizers and drinks. I tried their sliced beef and ox tongue in chili sauce as an appetizer. The flavor was good but not as spicy as I am used to it being. For the noodle soup, I got the curry crossing the bridge rice noodle soup. It was really good and I feel like having all the toppings on the side make it feel very customizable. If you are a noodle person, you can order additional noodles for free for the crossing the bridge rice noodle soup. This place is also quite affordable and with most noodle dishes being under ~$16. Service itself is quite minimal since you order via QR code. Overall, this is a good spot if you're looking for a solid bowl of noodle soup!

I couldn't finish my soup noodles, so I asked for a container to pack the rest home. When I scooped the soup, I found a bug in my soup. I showed the bug to the server, and the server brought it back to the kitchen immediately.Their solution was to not charge me for the container (that I did not take home after finding a bug) and 50% off for my soup noodles. It was one of my favorite restaurants, but not anymore since this happened.

Overall fun and tasty option, especially on a cooler day. Very reasonably priced and filling. Order through app, and food comes out quickly. Broth could be a bit stronger, but a nice selection and presentation of toppings. I love being to order extra noodles - great bang for your buck. Clean and minimalistic atmosphere, service was minimal and basic but met expectations for this style of restaurant. Great option for the area!

Hot soup in the cold weather is a one of good choices for the cold person. You could start order by scanning a QR code on the table. Rice noodles are great. I like the Szechuan Pepper fish rice noodle soup, a little bit hot and salty but I think it is Okay for a local. You can get an extra refills noodle for free if you are dine in. The price is not too expensive ($12-16). I try an sweet fries, they was served with condensed milk and they get along so well.

Yunnan rice noodles are a culinary delight. Their slender, silky strands soak up the rich, aromatic broth, bursting with flavors of herbs and spices. Topped with fresh vegetables and tender meats, these noodles offer a satisfying and memorable dining experience. A must-try for any food enthusiast!

This is a great little hidden gem near the university. The name of the restaurant literally means the food will come in ten seconds. Naturally, that’s an exaggeration but the food is very fast to get to the table.I would recommend the chicken noodle soup as that is very flavourful. Also, the prices are not exuberant so it bodes well for the students who do not want to spend too much.

I ate here the past two days in a row. This place is awesome! You order by scanning a QR code at the table. It’s reasonably priced at $12.50-$15.00 on average for a noodle dish. Ingredients are fresh and it’s a fun experience to put them in the sizzling hot bowl. The restaurant is tasteful decorated and always very clean. Staff are quick and friendly. No fluff, just good food and good service. My favourite is the tomato beef flank noodle soup.Overall: Delicious food, great atmosphere, and quick customer service. 10/10 will eat here again. 很好吃 ?

Food is ordered through an app, comes out hot and fresh. Good flavour. Some dishes have the noodles and meat in the bowl while some are outside and you add it in yourself.

Great music taste, great food (love free noodle refills), service was subpar however (tables only attended to after customers leave, drinks not refilled)

I have a very bad experience with the Shimiaodao Rice Noodle. The portion of the rice noodle is very deceptive. You could spend $40 for the noodle but you were still hungry.
