Really great experience here, service was wonderful and staff were super friendly!
We came here for AYCE and the food was so delicious, really exceeded my expectations. Great portion sizes on the nigiri, rolls and sashimi. They really don’t skimp out on the sashimi slices and they were also super fresh. Highlight of the night was definitely the hand cones, they were by far my party’s favourite thing we ordered. Super fresh and filled to the brim with fish and rice, absolutely delicious. We couldn’t get enough, definitely something you need to order if you’re planning on coming. The Vietnamese fusion dishes were also a delightful surprise and tasted delicious, definitely recommend ordering some of the skewers and lemongrass dishes as well!
The spot was a bit tucked away and wasn’t super packed or loud like other AYCE spots in town, really felt like a hidden gem! Totally worth a try if you find yourself in the mood for some sushi.

Never coming back to this place. Slowest service ever. Salmon sashimi tastes awful.

Impressive AYCE. Beats Yang Ming, my previous favorite. Favorite was skewered beef. Thin sliced bbqed. Very delicious. The roasted chicken and beef with lemon grass reminds me of Malaysian satay. Sashimi, Nigiri, Maki were well done. And the tempura shrimp was the best I have tasted. There were leftovers which we asked to pack up which they charged a reasonable fee. Overall a heavenly experience. Will be back when there are events to celebrate. The lycheetini was to die for, vodka with lychee juice.

The unique part of the AYCE here are the soup options. We like the BBH and salmon sashimi. The tempura yam was also tasty.

Shogun's all-you-can-eat buffet is a fantastic dining experience. The atmosphere is inviting, adorned with charming memorabilia from Japan that adds to the ambiance. The unlimited sushi and sashimi are top-notch, and I particularly recommend the beef tataki—it's a must-try! Their maki selection is also impressive, and their barbecue is delicious! They have some pretty big servings so please ask first! They are offering a delightful fusion of flavors, including some Vietnamese influences, like Pho.
Parking is plenty but it might be different as I went just after lunch rush so please keep this in mind. However, the parkade is across the street with enough empty stalls so I think it's fine if people visit even in their busy times.
Pricing, is on the pictures. While it’s on the pricier side, the quality and experience make it well worth it. I’ll definitely be returning!

The food was inconsistent. Some dishes were great others were just ok. For the price there is better sushi out there.

I haven't even left the restraunt and I wanted to leave a review. This is the best quality food of all the ALYCE restaurants I've tried. Everything I ate I would recommend, the sashimi, lemongrass beef, chicken wings, dumplings and beef tataki to name a few. The lady serving me was very friendly and quick to bring out food, just the way I like it.
I'm leaving now and will definitely come back to try so many other things that looked great.

I rarely write reviews, but unfortunately, I’ve decided not to order from this restaurant anymore due to their service and communication. As a regular customer, I’ve always been patient, but my recent experience was particularly frustrating.
Yesterday, I placed an order for pickup, which included one noodle soup and three pieces of nigiri. The person who took my order said it would be ready in 30 minutes. However, when I arrived 45 minutes later, my order had not been started. I ended up waiting an additional 10-15 minutes. The chef mentioned that the server hadn’t informed him of my order, which explained the delay. To add to the confusion, I was told upon arrival that they were out of Toro sashimi, which meant I had to adjust my order on the spot.
When I got home, I discovered that the noodles for my noodle soup and cutlery were missing. I called the restaurant to express my frustration and inform them that I could not drive another 20 minutes to just pick up the missing items. Then, the server was discussing this with other people in the restaurant and came up with an offer of a refund or a replacement noodle soup, and I opted for the latter.
The following day, when I called to claim the replacement, another server declined my request, saying she wasn’t aware of the previous agreement. After leaving my contact information, the owner called back hours later and reneged on the offer of the replacement soup, instead offering a 15% discount on a future order. This was a very cheap move by the owner since the store was already giving out 15% discount coupons to other customers. I found this gesture unsatisfactory, especially given the inconvenience caused.
Overall, I found the restaurant's handling of the situation disappointing. The lack of clear communication between staff, combined with the unwillingness to follow through on their promises, has led me to conclude that this is not a place I can rely on for consistent service. I also wasted a lot of my time and energy for nothing. Regrettably, they’ve lost a customer for just a $15 noodle soup. In conclusion, don't waste your time or money on this restaurant; their service simply isn't worth it.

This is hands down the best ayce sushi spot in town. We come here a few times a month and its great every time. The staff are friendly and attentive. Food comes out at the perfect pace all the time. Every date night here is a great vibe. The sushi and sashimi quality is good, and has the best selection and variety in town. Its a whole vibe when its busy on weekends but its also cozy and comfortable during the week. Underrated fr. The ayce is the best value and variety and selection in the city.

Good food. However, they should lower the price for kids under 10 for A.Y.C.E. I think $30 is a bit too much considering they don’t eat that much.
There were 5 adults and 1 kid when we ate. So, we spent 260 CAD plus 18%, for a total of 304 CAD. I wouldn't recommend their food. The oil used for the tempura and all the fried food was reused, so it tasted like old oil. It wasn’t worth what we paid. Don't go for the all-you-can-eat option because, imagine, it’s 41 CAD per person, but it's really not worth it.

Wasn't informed that AYCE sushi ended at 9pm when reserving for a party of 7. Host at the front was not empathetic nor apologetic to the situation. We ended up not eating here because of this experience and most likely never return.

Should have listened to the reviews. Sashimi was pretty good. But the deep fried items were so greasy or overcooked. The stewed beef was absolutely incredible tho. Most items were very meh.
