This was our first time at Sicilian’s and was a very deeply disappointing experience. We chose this restaurant for a low-key birthday dinner, hoping for a pleasant evening out. What we received was the polar opposite. While the food was mediocre, the sole experience was defined by the total vacuum of service. The overall atmosphere was set at the beginning when the workers expressions seemed blank and gave miserable energy. When our server arrived at the table, we were not greeted at all. When we tried to engage by asking for a recommendation from the menu, the response felt dismissive and was unhelpful. This disinterest defined the whole night for our birthday dinner celebration.
After settling the bill, we walked to the front door and past several employees and not a single expression of gratitude or acknowledgment was given.
Final thoughts: An unhappy staff makes for a miserable guest experience. This wasn't just bad service; it was a total collapse of the fundamentals of dining out—engagement, care, and a semblance of welcome. We tried to give this place a shot throughout the night but unfortunately still failed.

They use to make great meat lasagna, lots of meat. I bought one a few days ago, it was the worse lasagna I ever had, barely any meat, the pasta was squashed together with nothing in between it. It was hard to cut through the pasta. Never going there again
The service was disappointing. Our server barely checked in, and although the rest of the table was served, my plate didn’t arrive until 15 minutes later. One of the dishes was also burnt. Overall, the experience wasn’t worth it. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Large hall and plenty of seating. The pizza is delicious. The staff is friendly. The interior is interesting. The prices are affordable.

Celebrated by daughters 14th birthday here with her older brother and my partner. 10/10, everyone is satisfied, that's rare in my family. I must mention the martinis.. wow. I'm coming back for a date nite. Thanks everyone.

We usually go to the one southside , and we gonna stick to this one. The food at this location was very disappointing and wait times (although not busy) was very long.
I had a great experience at Sicilian Pasta Kitchen Downtown. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and well kept, creating a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy a meal. The food came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. Prices were fair and reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed, enjoyable Italian meal — I’d definitely come back!

Sicilian Pasta Kitchen Downtown offers a warm and inviting ambiance reminiscent of a family run trattoria. The pasta is handmade and the sauces are rich and flavourful. Signature dishes like fettuccine Alfredo, gnocchi and lasagna are cooked to perfection and taste like they came straight from an Italian grandmother’s kitchen. The wood fired pizzas have a thin crispy crust with quality toppings, and the arancini and calamari make excellent starters. The wine list is well curated and the staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about pairings. Service is attentive and friendly, with servers always checking in at the right moments and offering recommendations. The cozy dining room features exposed brick and soft lighting that make it ideal for a romantic date or a relaxed dinner with friends. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and there are vegetarian options. This gem brings a taste of Sicily to downtown Edmonton and I highly recommend it for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine.

We went to Sicilian Pasta Kitchen yesterday to celebrate my son’s and my birthday, but it was unfortunately a very disappointing experience.
When we arrived, the receptionist couldn’t find our reservation, which was frustrating! We ordered 3 pizzas and 3 pastas, but the food took one full hour to arrive. I had to follow up with our server before anything came out.
The Aragosta pasta cost $44, which I had been really looking forward to, tasted bland and underwhelming, though the other dishes were okay. When I asked our server why it took so long, she just said it was because a large table had many orders. I understand restaurants get busy, but we should have been told ahead of time that the wait would be that long.
What made it worse was that the server was not apologetic at all about the situation. For a special occasion, I expected much better communication and service. Sadly, this experience left us very disappointed.
