Winstons fish and chips, my first time and like to say the best in town. I had the cod, the batter was so fresh, the coleslaw delicious and Jessica’s service outstanding and very kind!

Batter on the fish was a little thick but very tasty, one of the better fish and chip places I have tried in edmonton.

As someone who is a maritimer and loves a good fish and chips, finding any of those down-home comfort foods became impossible when I developed a wheat allergy. I heard of Winston's from celiac friends, and when I saw they had gluten-free onion rings - well! Game changer. My sister and I went in yesterday, and she also tried (and loved) the gluten-free options. Not only was everything delicious, but unlike many chippies, it wasn't the least bit greasy or soggy. The wait staff is personable, kind and thoughtful. The whole experience was great and I will certainly be back.

Mega portions of crispy hot happiness! Only negative was the stuffing was cold. The coleslaw was liked by even the non-coleslaw people.

Great place for fish and chips. The haddock they give you is pretty huge. Sides are four dollars, which is a bit pricey. Overall, great experience.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I have had countless different types of fish and chips in probably 6 different countries including the UK and this is one of the best. Amazing food, amazing service, perfect music, and Guinness on tap.

Great place for a Saturday fish and chips! Homey atmosphere and a delicious meal on a winter day makes it the perfect place. Atlantic Haddock and mushy peas were fantastic.

I was a quite disappointed with the quality of the food, the chips were a frozen type, the fish batter was a tasteless mush, curry sauce was far to watered down, the mushy peas were good, the service was nice and friendly, it would be nice to see some British style drinks in the cooler, all in all it far from British fish and chips but it could be much better with a bit of effort ?

I recently visited Winston's Fish and Chips for the first time and had an outstanding experience! The service was excellent, making my first visit memorable. I ordered the 2-piece cod, and it exceeded my expectations in both flavor and freshness. The staff's friendliness and attention to detail truly set this place apart. A five-star recommendation for an all-around fantastic dining experience!

Food is excellent. Nicely seasoned fish with a light batter. Many options for fish. We tried the cod and halibut. Good portion sizes. Fries were nice and crispy including the onion rings. Something about the spices in the onion bahji, I would not get it again. Sticky toffee pleasant. Would have liked to have more British imports for drinks vs American. Place is neatly decorated with London-inspired artwork. It was a little drafty inside. Server had nice recommendations. They also have a "take-and-bake" freezer section to try some of their pies and pasties at home.
