Smitty's Restaurant & Lounge - Edmonton Northgate

Had not been to Smitty's in a long time...years. Although prices have gone up, as has everything, the food did not disappoint. Great portions, good food, great service, and still bottomless coffee 👍.

Sunday Nov. 24 2024 at 3:30pm, I went inside Northgate Smitty’s lounge. I cashed out a vlt ticket. The server never greets or thanks customer. She just puts your vlt money on the counter and walks away. Very poor customer service.
She just walks away and starts eating her lunch. No customers in the lounge drinking or eating.
Also, the daytime server on weekdays acts the same way towards customers. Not even a peep out of her mouth. Owner should dismiss these 2 workers and replace them. Worker on Sunday day shift was wearing sweat pants. Very unprofessional.

No consistency and poor service. My husband and I came in for wings since they "have" unlimited wings on Tuesdays. We went to the restaurant and sat down and got our drinks then were told it's only available in the lounge. So we would've had to pay for drinks then go to the lounge not a big deal. On a second visit, we came to the lounge and was told it was only available in the restaurant.... We've never had this issue with the Manning location. We're both very confused.

I am always very happy with the food and the service is excellent. If there is ever an issue they correct the problem and you leave happy.

While traveling we stopped here for breakfast to experience a Canadian restaurant. The food was fantastic and Hilda our server was friendly and fun! The whole experience was absolutely great!

Dine in. Delicious food. We have been coming here for years. Jade is our favourite server. She is very pleasant and helpful and friendly. She is vey attentive and the main reason we come here!

Our waitress Jade is the kindest, sweetest lady! Remembers everyone’s names and provides prompt friendly service. She’s just excellent.
