I booked a reservation through their online system (which reminded me not to take too much time at my table) only to be met with a seat yourself sign that was just knocked over against a podium and not displayed. I ordered a diet coke and it tasted awful. My waitress was no where in sight for quite a while so i had to go up and bother the bartender and he let me know that the diet coke has'nt been working right and someones coming to fix it this week. I wouldn't have ordered it if i had known. I will say the brisket and ribs were good and the seasoned fries were yummy. However i got sent cold chicken with clearly straight out of the fridge bbq sauce plopped on it and then the replacement chicken was still just lukewarm inside. My second waitress (shift change) was really nice and had a great attitude and took the chicken and the beverage off my bill and apologized for the issues. The website for this place makes it look like a cute place for a date night and more like MEAT if it was a nice bar restaurant downtown. However it is very much a divebar that just looks like a nicer place online. The washrooms being open to the rest of the bar with only stalls and a room divider thing was very offputting also. I could hear the conversation the bartender and the men sitting at the bar were having clearly from inside the ladies room stall. I for sure wont be back ever.

We went to Smoke last night for supper before the Rivalry Game. We were seated promptly but right at the front door so I was very cold as a chill would pass through everytime the door opened. This was why I rated the atmosphere only at a 3. Our waitress did move us as I was very uncomfortable and shivering so that was better.
We had the Notorious PIG and the platter for two and the cornbread. Both were very good and decent portions. The potato salad was killer but the coleslaw was very strange. It had a heavy citrus flavor or maybe too much apple cider vinegar. It was not very good. Overall, we enjoyed our meals, our waitress was pleasant and would come again.

Went to smoke last night before Dave Chapelle and it was a total dissapointment. Drinks took 45 minutes to come out, after 2 reminders and 1 of the drugs was wrong but we drank it anyways since we were thirsty. Food took 1 hr 15 mins to come out and that meant we didnt get our food before we had to leave. We paid $130 for food we had to leave behind. The waitress seemed stunned, looking around it was odd since no-one else had their food either, so it's not like the kitchen was overburdened. Very dissapointing. I have been to smoke before and it was much better, but they need to hire more people and train them to write down orders and put them immediately into the computer so they can get started on.

Some of the worst service i have ever experienced.
I arrived around 5:30pm with a reservation and was promptly seated at a small (barely longer than the menu) table with barstool seating. We were not spoken to or served until 6:05pm, after i finally flagged down a waitress to order drinks and food. We ordered 2 beers and 2 sandwiches. The canned/bottled beers arrived after 20 minutes, and the food never showed up. By 6:55pm we had been at the restaurant for almost 1.5 hours without food and decided to pay and leave.
The waitress brought over a bill with 4 beers on it (would've loved to actually have 2 beers each, but no waitress would come to the table) and was extremely rude when asked to correct the bill to 1 beer each. Will absolutely never be back or recommend this place to anyone.

Friends told me to check out smoke, and I must say I was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. They appeared to be short staffed but this did not stop the amazing service and we all had a really good time. Shout out to Lexus for making our night fun and enjoyable.
Great tasting food although the rib tips where you expect the most tender meat was pure fat. unfortunately every time I have ordered delivery from here im missing drinks and sometimes other items.

We went on the night of the Canadian Finals Rodeo. We got there early, hoping to avoid lines. The service was very slow. The manager stood at the front door and watched servers struggle to keep up. So many customers were grumbling and angry with the wait times for food and drinks. The food was good. Overall, just not prepared for the volume and didn’t manage well.
