Came here for my birthday last week as we wanted to try somewhere we've never been before. Their instagram and reviews all seemed really good! When we got there we were the only ones in the place the whole time, which was weird. We got our drinks which were fine! They weren't disgusting but I'm sure I could've gotten an, equal, or better drink from anywhere else. One of us didn't like our drink, so I'm assuming the owner, offered to make a new one but he stood at our table, staring at us the whole time she was deciding on a new drink.... We got a charcuterie board to share and the mac n cheese. The charcuterie board was a major disappointment, there were tostitos and the flat pretzel crackers from costco on it. A mountain of olives, like 4 slices of cheese and 2 random meats, of like 5 pieces each. I could've made a better one at home. Mac n cheese also was nothing spectacular, definitely not what I'd expect from a restaurant/bar. Just overall seems very random, the menu does not make a lot of sense, the weird flower wall in the bathroom looks like it was slapped together in 5 min. The owner, I'm assuming, stood at the bar the whole time, random people would come in and eventually there was a whole group of people just chilling at the end of the bar, not sure if they were employees? Wouldn't go back but was not the worst experience ever.

Our Wednesday night dinner group came here this week. It’s a tiny little cocktail lounge. The new owner (about a year) served us and she was lovely and kind. We shared the Chicken Tikka medium spice and I was blown away. I’ve only had Indian food twice and it was ions ago, but this chicken was so flavourful and juicy, I honestly couldn’t get enough of it. Two of us ordered the Spicy Chorizo Mac & Cheese which was really good (could have been hotter, but tasty) and also tried the Chicken Piccata, again juicy chicken and my brother really liked his dish. I tried some of his veggies and they were so good, I asked for a side of them myself. The owner didn’t charge me which was too kind of her. I know this will be weird, but some of the best veggies I’ve had in a restaurant. It was very quiet in there, she gets super busy on weekend, but it’s very tiny and she has to turn people away which upsets her. I suggest supporting them on a weeknight. Love supporting local.

My experience with the food was terrible. Ordered the chicken dish that was supposed to be crispy with a white sauce. It was grilled chicken with no sauce and the kitchen knew it was out did not ask about substitutes so I ordered the steak dish and they used the old vegetables from my previous dish that was cold and undercooked with no flavouring. The steak itself was nothing special, I’ve never had a negative google review and unfortunately don’t think I will go back, but as a group of 6 of us and had a automatic tip so when the bill came it was almost 70$ for a very poor experience.
