This was all of ours first time there, We actually appreciated that we were seated in the rom it was quieter , my grandkids enjoyed every minute of it, the appetizers were a hit and so was the main. Thank you so much.😊

Ordered the salmon and prawns with lemon beurre blanc. The salmon was okay but slightly over grilled. The cook must have had an accident with the salt shaker though as the last few bites were extremely salty. Instead of lemon beurre blanc sauce the dish came with olive oil which helped the dry salmon. The shrimp were fresh and well done as was the pasta. First time I've been disappointed at this fine restarant.

Was disappointed where we were placed to sit. I had mentioned we were having a business meal and we could hardly hear ourselves think never mind talk as you placed us in the part of the restaurant that was the most cramped booth and by far the noisest area. You need to reevaluate where you put people. You were not full and you could have put us in a much better spot. We were told next time to put we want section 20. I will try that and see if that is better the next time. Unfortunately despite all the other excellent attributes of the night the poor table placement is what sticks in my mind the most, it was that bad.

The service was really lacking; we waited a really long time before a server even came to our table and then continued to wait a long time for her to bring out the drinks. She also brought us oil and vinegar but forgot the bread to go with it, we didn't get the bread until quite a while later when we asked for it. The food on the other hand was pretty decent. We had the beef carpaccio to start with which was absolutely delicious, my husband had chicken carbonara which he really enjoyed and I had the shrimp and mushroom gnocchi which would have been really good if it wasn't so salty. Overall, I would rate the restaurant a 3/5.

Every time we leave Sorrentinos my family and I have to roll out, after our Italian feast. Once I almost needed to be carried. The food is delicious, truly good quality Italian food. I would personally recommend the lasagna, spaghetti carbonara, and veal cannelloni with mushroom cream sauce. The service is sometimes great other times average. Once my grandmother had to call the manager. The service needs to be consistent. The restaurant has a good vibe in terms of ambience, but sometimes it can be a little noisy and a bit crowded in the way some of the tables are placed. Overall, Sorrentinos is a great place for a family get together or somebody looking for some impeccable Italian food.

Last evening 18 August 2026 my wife and I ate at Sorrentinos in Callingwood for the first time ever. Staff were amazing they were very pleasant and yet professional. The waiter improvised my desert without asking and it was as if he read my mind. C my wife said to each other that we will be back more than once, and we will. Even though we did not have a reservation we were treated like we had one. I felt guilty for not making one. Next time I will, I think it’s a great policy to have. Amazing experience, thanks to everyone at out new favourite restraint

My wife and I went there for our anniversary The service was extremely slow and inattentive we dined inside and they seemed way more interested in the patio customers After finally receiving dinner buns they were hard and cold and it was all down hill from there! The ceasar salad was very dry with about a third of the dressing it should have had! We would have complained except the server was no where to be found. Then we waited and waited for our seafood entrees while everyone that came in after us received there meals They don’t provide a drink menu other than trying to push the wine we had to go searching for one After 90 minutes our entrees came COLD!!! The shift manager came and stated very clearly that she would cover the bill and also send us home with entrees which she did HOWEVER when she walked away the server presented us with the bill for the salad and two drinks after we had understood that our bill was taken care of and no we did not have a bottle of wine in case your wondering Instead of arguing we paid and left They seem to have the attitude that they have a captive audience being the only restaurant in the neighborhood!! There is another Italian restaurant not to far from Sorrentinos that has excellent food and service for considerably less money
