If u want proper authentic Indian food this is the spot.. the service is great I'm assuming it's a small family run business. Same people every time. The foods next level! .with very generous portions. My go to spot for Indian.

A Hidden Gem in the Northside!

I had the pleasure of dining at Spicy Hut Indian Bistro & Bistro, and it was an unforgettable experience! This place is truly a hidden gem in the Northside, and more people need to know about it—especially food bloggers who should absolutely explore this spot.

From the moment I stepped in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and the incredible aromas of Indian spices set the tone for a great meal. The food was outstanding! Every dish was perfectly spiced and full of flavor. I highly recommend the butter chicken—it was creamy, tender, and paired perfectly with the freshly baked naan. The variety of vegetarian options was impressive too, with the paneer tikka and dal makhani being some of the best I’ve ever had.

The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation of the dishes was beautiful.

If you’re looking for authentic, mouthwatering Indian cuisine, Spicy Hut Indian Bistro & Bistro is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

I had an amazing dining experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors, and the quality was top-notch. Don’t let the environment scare you away. The food portion is huge and full of flavors. All curry comes with free rice. Naan was so fresh and crispy and not oily at all.
The owners treat you like old friends. Occasionally the chef from the back would come out and ask you about the food.
100% recommended!! Will bring more friends over next time.

Ordered through Uber Eats for delivery, and was totally blown away. Didn't realize that this place was where it was, not to mention it totally cured my Indian food craving. Bright, complex flavours, as well as being at the spice level I expected things to be at! Not to mention the portions are quite generous too! I will probably come by one day to eat in. Thank you!

Bhoj the chef gave us a warm welcome and hot tasty food. The ambience and overall experience was a wow! We are visiting from Vancouver and this better than anything we have at home! Absolutely excellent food for the whole family.

Awesome food. We ordered hot and sour chicken soup, chicken momo, goat curry, veg dal soup . Everything was great . Owner came and asked about food. Service was great. Will come back.

Wanted to give 'em 0 star but sadly there's no option for it. I went there to drop off my resume and they asked me for a trial obviously after going thru my resume. They made me work almost 6 hours just for a TRIAL and when all the cleaning etc was finished, all I got to know was that they need someone with canadian experience. Well, just wanna warn someone like me who goes in there with the hope of getting a job. Additionally, I got to know that one of their employee was on day off, so me going in the store was an advantage for them to complete some of their tasks, if you can't afford to pay somebody's hard work then don't even try to play smart.
