Usually I’ll be greeting with “good morning” when I step my foot into the door. This morning were so different. Although the room were filled with people sitting down having their coffee already. The two attendants were busy behind the counter. It’s my birthday today. I walked in for my free complimentary coffee. My daughter and I are the huge fans of this place. Somehow the vibe were so sad 😞. I’m very cheerful person. I always greet people very politely because I Am
A Typical Canadian. Just too friendly 😊. I bought a Sweat top which my daughter convinced me to get one for my birthday. She owns 2 pieces of the sweat tops she got there before we left for our 3 months trip to Asia. So ya! I don’t know how to rate their service this morning. So ya! Whatever issues we have. Especially in public service. Please don’t bring it to work. It’s not fair to bring it on to others’ lives. We have no idea who can be walking into your place. That person could be wanting to be in a nice and positive environment because he/she might be having a bad time going on in their lives. That’s all I’m gonna say here!

Somehow, despite being smack dab in the middle of a long running road & LRT construction zone this coffee bar remains a cosy spot to sit with a friend and have a chat. I had a delicious Chai latte And my husband enjoyed their tasty cinnamon knot and a regular no foam latte. The servers were friendly and speedy, and the atmosphere was cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Staff is always friendly and atmosphere is clean and cozy. I visit once every two weeks when I'm in the area and it has always been a pleasant experience.

Parking: Free 2 hour topside and underground parking after registering your license plate at the kiosk. *NOTE* If the kiosk does not give you the option for free 2 hours, hit cancel and it should show up after you try again. It popped up the first try on my last visit so they may have fixed the bug.

Although 'coffee' is in the name of this business, the baked goods are the real stars of the show. As someone who has made it a personal mission to discover and devour the best baked goods across Canada—at great financial cost—I can confidently say my search ended when I discovered the Cinnamon Knot at Square One Coffee. Oh, and the coffee is pretty decent too!
