I’ve been going to Stawnichy’s Mundare Sausage House since I was a kid and without a doubt it is the best sausage you will find in Western Canada.

Family owned and Alberta proud this company has been operating for half a century. High quality products that are locally sourced and reasonably priced are hard to find these days and it doesn’t hurt that they give back to the community too.

Amazing!

This is one of my favourite places to eat. You will always get what you expect. You can customize your food and usually half orders are more than enough. The waitresses are very skilled at their ability to serve all customers in an inclusive manner. It is so nice to experience a bit of Ukrainian culture. I also love to honour my late daughter by going there to honour her life. She loved trying new foods and when she was alive we made this restaurant a regular place to meet and visit. The food is so delicious.

Not a very big parking lot, but there is free street parking. Very friendly staff. Prices are amazing.

I thought I loved their ham sausage and then I tried their pepperoni. Holy schmokes!

I would love for them to do a funky version like dill pickle but hey definitely check it out!

Been stopping in at the shop for years. Great customer service. Great products. The owner when she still is around she will give my son a Kinder egg out of kindness. Great local place. Kind people. Wonderful food.

These reviews are harsh and not my experience.

I stop in a few times a summer and grab a bag of things , bought 50 rings of sausage for Christmas give always and honest l it was all great.

Everything has nitrates and msg it’s sad and I wish they offered cleaner meats but it’s up to rhe buyer to order .

I was there the other day. Ordered over $50 worth of product mixed product. The Sausage and meats are excellent, But being overcharged is just NOT RIGHT. As they were ringing it in to the register I was surprised to see that a mundare tariff was added. Every single item they rang into the register was rounded up to the nearest nickel. When I questioned them, they said they are supposed to round it up. Not many people check as they ring in product, but I did. With everything being so expensive these days I don't mind paying a fair price, but NOT EXTRA. I know it's not much and maybe only totaled about 8 -15 cents, It totally destroyed my trust in the Sausage house. I almost walked out when this happened. You should be able to trust the price you pay based on the price of the product.... not here expect the tariff.
