I don’t go to subway often it’s usually a mediocre experience but Renata made this my best sub yet! She was very friendly and put my sub together with lots of consideration like having a sandwhich from my own grandma! Felt like a family run restraunt. Amazing. She deserves a raise!

Simran took our order. She was friendly and polite. A friend who was with me had trouble ordering, due to being a new Canadian, but Simran was patient with her. My friend wanted to pay for my lunch but had trouble understanding all the English on the card reader. She missed the tip part of the instructions and I then attempted to leave a tip, but Simran waved us on with a smile. I believe she realized that it would be embarrassing for my friend to think she had made a mistake in paying. I thought that was very kind of Simran! I noticed that the staff were very friendly to other people who came to order after us.
The sandwiches were very good, crammed full of fresh and delicious toppings.
Can I make a suggestion? To prevent the restaurant’s bathroom from being a public washroom, perhaps lock the washroom door and have patrons access the key at the till. It’s a little worrisome to see a sign with “out of order” on the washroom door when entering the restaurant. We were prepared to leave without ordering because we thought that the washroom really was “out of order” and we would not be able to wash our hands before eating. Just a suggestion…otherwise, it is a great place to catch a bite.

Every single time I’ve come to this location it’s been understaffed. It’s always the sweetest older lady working by herself who is attentive, patient, and doing the work of 3. Absolutely poor business management making their star (maybe their only?) employee manage the evening rush.
