Ordered a foot long cold cut. The lettuce was rough looking. A bit yellow, bit wilted. I asked if she had fresh lettuce and she said yes. But the bag she pulled out had the same stuff in it. Tomatos weren't fresh either. Pickles were also rough. Ive been going to subway for probably 30 years. Some locations seem to be better then others. I'd say this one is one of the bad ones. Being in the mall you would think everything would be fresh since there's lots of people but I guess not. Regretted my choice after the first couple of bites. Probably one of the worst sandwiches I've had and that's saying something. the lady that served us was very friendly. But she should have had training that taught her when the veggies aren't up to par. For a place where the moto is always fresh. This was not the case.

I came here today to place an order for 2 footlongs so I could share with my friends. I made the order and while she was making the order the lady who was taking my order was nice until I wanted to purchase a drink I asked her few questions like if they had fountain pespi or drinks. She sighs and gets rude by me asking a question. This is very unprofessional if you don't want to do your job or answer questions please don't work here and make the customers feel miserable for your behavior. The food is good but not the customer service and now that I scroll through the reviews talking about the customer service I see why you guys don't have long lines.

I had a wonderful experience at Subway thanks to Sukhdeep. She was very polite, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. She listened carefully to my order, prepared it exactly the way I wanted, and worked quickly while still making sure everything was fresh and neatly done. Her friendly attitude and professional service made the visit really pleasant. Employees like Sukhdeep truly make a difference with their excellent customer service.

I’ve been here more times then I can count and keep giving them chances. I love subway so it’s unfortunate the staff don’t know what they are doing. Bad attitude for starters and second they don’t EVER pack the food down properly just a massive mess everytime. The bread is cut crooked when they slice the footlong and it’s honestly disappointing. Oh and also I’ll wait 5 min for service they’ll just be in the back with a completely empty store. Do you know how many customers you miss doing this???

I’ve began ordering online because the customer service here is often quite poor, where there’s been times i’ve waited 5 minutes to helped meanwhile I can hear associates in the back laughing. I’ve had 3 of my online orders built wrong since then, missing cheese, missing sauce, and the vegetables are often soggy and close to inedible.

Terrible location. I’ve heard quite a few complaints about the customer service at this place, and I experienced it myself today.
I went there looking for something vegetarian. A food attendant named Amrit was helping me. She was looking down while speaking, and I couldn’t hear her properly. I politely said twice that I couldn’t hear her. Instead of addressing that, she made an awkward face and started yelling.
I told her not to make that weird face and to stop yelling. I decided to leave the place. As I was walking out, she started laughing — absolutely unprofessional, cheap, and ridiculous behavior.
I will never return to this place. Horrible customer service, completely unacceptable.

The subway at southgate mall in edmonton location the 2 ladies that works there today May 27,2025 at 12:40pm, they were very friendly and accomodating because ky 3 year old only wants a toasted subway bread. Thank you so much ladies, sorry i didn’t get your names. But you made my daughter’s day.

I ordered footlong chicken teriyaki 2 days back, the sub was super good and properly wrapped and veggies were fresh and excellent customer service experience, sam made my ordered and he was very joyful and polite and even grilled the sub after wrapping as i forgot to mention it in the order.
Kudos to SAM.

Delicious subs and great service
Terrible!!! Just Terrible! I went here with my friend and there was TWO people in front of us… the lady behind the counter took 15 minutes to get through TWO customers who only ordered one sub combo each… I dont fully blame the worker as she was the only one working (this was at 5pm so supper traffic why do you only have one worker) and she clearly didn’t get trained well enough to be working alone. Train your employees better and maybe get enough staff to run it smoothly.
