Sugar Bowl is one of my favorite places to spend time near the University of Alberta. It’s located on a beautiful, scenic street lined with trees, which makes the atmosphere especially pleasant.

The food is consistently excellent. Their appetizers are great, and the pulled pork sandwich is one of my personal favorites. Portion sizes are generous, prices are reasonable, and the fries are outstanding. They even serve popcorn during happy hour, which is a fun...
The food was quite good. The waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere is old school since it's such an old restaurant with tons of history in the city. If I have to recommend anything it's going here and getting their London Fog if you like those because theirs was the best I've had.
The atmosphere of the place is oddly soothing since it is actually pretty loud, people seem happy together, and the lady with a dog beside me is very friendly, which makes me somehow felt heart warmed too. The service is good, food is extremely delicious, and I can see how he brew up the coffee, which made me change my mind of just drinking water, which I’m glad I did so, I think this place has one of the best black coffee I’ve ever drank.
