“Came to get some sushi while on my break at my job, the cashier noticed I was tired and ask if I was having a long day (I definitely was LOL), as he finished up making my sushi he also gave me a free small bowl of miso soup saying “hope this makes your night a little better” ❤️ not only was the food amazing but truly lifted my spirits to have a stranger show so much kindness ☺️“

“Checked this place out for the first time and we weren't disappointed! All of our sushi was fresh, well presented and reasonably priced. The miso soup was piping hot and very tasty. The unagi roll was one of our favs, and with 4 huge rolls, the 2 of us left stuffed to the brim with delicious sushi, our bill was ~$50. The servers were all friendly and helpful, so glad we stopped in!“

Foods are fresh, and good.
But I won't say it's good portion but enough, because a lot of rice.

The rice a bit hard, maybe I like a bit softer.

“What a great find! Sushi was yummy, fresh and fast. I have celiac disease and our server was knowledgeable and let me know what was safe and not safe to eat. They have gluten free soya sauce too. It was a pleasure dining at I Love Sushi and definitely will dine there again.“

“Great sushi situation in a house. Their rolls and bulgogi dishes were great. Their sushi is also good with huge portions of sushi. Their dynamic roll was a bit too spicy for me so next time I’ll ask for the spicy mayo to be on the side. They recommended we get the platter next time as it is more economical. Highly recommend. They have a large patio/outside space that would be lovely in the summer.“

“Food is ok in general. Unfortunately they are more worry asking you how is the food than in the actual service. I bet they came at least 10 times asking about the food. My glass of water was half empty most of the time. I’ve got a refilled once. At the end, we checked the bill and we’ve got charge PST- WTH? I cannot imagine how many other people got charges and didn’t even know! Not impressed! I like most of the food, fried chicken needs it more flavour. The rest was good!“

“This place is amazing. Great atmosphere, super helpful staff and hostess. Rolls are perfect sizes, with a range of large and small. Our 10 yr old wanted dumplings and the 6pc Gyoza was perfect for him. All ingredients were super fresh, avocados were the perfect ripeness. Their signature seasonal deserts are pcs of art, the amount of time and detail on these are absolutely stunning. I would travel across the city for this place, luckily we’re really close. 10/10.“

There is absolutely no reason to pay more money from any restaurants... this place is a lot better than any other Japanese restaurants. “Where do i start? This was my first time here with my mom and we were blown away! Beautiful little restaurant, this place is a GEM! It was packed for a Wednesday, but the service was consistent and incredible! The tables have extra napkins and there's a nice container with some wooden chopsticks. Your food is served on little wooden boards which was awesome! The wasabi looked like it was in the shape of a flower. The details at this place are amazing . Alot of severers and all of them were so sweet and attentive . I love the tiny portions here, it lets you trt everything on the menu without getting stuffed on rice! The sashimi is small and thin, which is just perfect. Most of the items you get only 2 pieces, you get little rice and its great! Most ayce places give you so much rice with your rolls and the portions are huge. Everything here is delicate and balanced. The beef tatayki was my favorite! Three strips of deliciousness . It makes you order more! I really enjoyed getting my sushi in controlled portions. Because of this me and my mom ate alot. We tried the toro which was extra, but it was melt in your mouth. Theres also an option here to get raw food to cook on a stone! We didnt do that, but you can get fish, shrimp, mussels and steak! You cook it right at your table . Most of the food we had melted in our mouths. What i really enjoyed was that we got everything in all our orders. We didn't have to repeat any items like we do at other sushi places. 10/10, sushi toshi is our favorite place now!!“

“I am a vegetarian (no fish), and love the limited options that Tokyo Noodle House has to offer. All of their maki rolls are always made with fresh ingredients and taste amazing.

Their vegetable tempura is absolutely incredible, and my meat eating partner loves their Katsudon and would rate it as a 9/10 or 10/10 on his comfort foods list.

Although it cannot be compared to Japan's high-end omakase, the neta (fish) was very good and fresh, and I especially liked the rice grains that were soft and smooth in the mouth when eaten. I had salmon belly and tuna belly sushi, and it was oily and quite delicious. The rice was so delicious that I ordered it again, and the egg sushi I ate last took away the remaining taste in my mouth and was very refreshing. I finished the meal with the special Yuju Sorbet and finished the meal with great satisfaction. I plan to come back soon for my mom's birthday.“

“I love this place - my boyfriend and I have been coming here for a little over a year. We happened upon this restaurant and it’s become a staple for us - ordering online and dining in their food is always consistent and delicious. The salad dressing they have is unlike any other I’ve ever had and is so delicious! Even when ordering online they take the special instructions seriously. When eating in the service is phenomenal and the food is even better as it’s fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could! “I've been a Mikado customer and enthusiast since the owner (David) was a sushi chef at the original location back in the early 1980s. The fact that I (now 'we') continue to be clients of this fine establishment for over four decades pretty much illustrates how highly we regard this group of restaurants. 5.5 stars out of 5!!!“
