Leaving this review after a recent visit. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment.
We ordered two sets for almost $50, and the quality did not match either the price or the expectations from a place called “Sushi Shop.”
Main issues:
– The rolls were mostly bland. The rice flavor was overpowered by sauces, and there was unexpected spiciness in items that were not labeled as spicy. – Very little fish in the rolls — in some pieces it was barely noticeable. – Use of imitation ingredients (like imitation crab) while charging premium prices. – Wasabi was placed directly inside the main container, causing several rolls to smear and absorb it during transport. – No pickled ginger included at all. – Overall packaging was poorly thought out.
What’s surprising is that even grocery store sushi (e.g., Safeway) tastes better and is packaged more carefully — at a much lower price point.
When paying close to $50, you expect at least basic quality: proper rice seasoning, balanced ingredients, and thoughtful packaging.
Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Great sushi at a decent price. I've been ordering online for a long time but just recently visited the store. It is like a Mall food court ambient. This is not a fancy place, it is shared with Thai Express.
If you are looking for a date, this is not the place, but of you pick or order... Your date can be fantastic 👌🏻.
The food is 100% recommended.

We were very disappointed with our visit. The fish was not fresh, and everything tasted dry, including the ginger and even the wasabi. The quality was far below expectations, and unfortunately, we had to throw away nearly half of the plate. Definitely not worth the experience.

We go here every single Friday as one of my daughters is a sushi lover. Each time the staff is friendly and they always make sure that she is happy with her order. All ingredients are always fresh and very tasty. The restaurant is very clean. This is our favourite sushi place.
Unreal...... Try it! Best Salmon Poke bowl with crispy rice! Always consistent. Amazing.

Far too expensive for the quality and service. Order and pay before you sit. Tea not included. No bento options. Rolls were poorly made and falling apart. Sloppy and unevenly cut. Missing ingredients. Tempura was very greasy. Service was not helpful or friendly. Dine-in was served with everything squashed together in plastic trays and cheap disposable chopsticks. I don’t think they own actual plates and cutlery here. Even tea was served in a paper cup. Shares a space with Thai express. Dirty and uncomfortable seating. I think this place caters to delivery-food services primarily. We would not come back.

We had Sushi Shop prepare two platters for a funeral. They were a huge hit! The sushi was so unique and delicious and the presentation was fantastic! Would absolutely go out of my way to eat there!

We order the Sushi Shop on Skip all the time. It is AMAZING. We are big sushi fans and occasionally order from the more expensive places, but honestly the sushi shop is just as good. SO FRESH and delicious. The Sushi Shop has become our regular go to. We have ordered it countless times and it’s ALWAYS great ❤️
