Excellent butter chicken combo for a very reasonable price. Best I've had in edmonton. The pickled mango was extra bitter the yogurt dip extra cool and creamy100% will be back.Food took a little longer than expected and in a very rough spot but Excellent value and taste.

Quiet and comfortable, with welcoming staff and a huge menu to choose from. We especially enjoyed the mango lassi contrasting with the spicy flavours, and their garlic naan is so delicious.
Recently visited and loved the quality of the food. The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, and I especially enjoyed the milk tea. The seating area was spacious, the decor quite unique which added to my overall dining experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Nepali cuisine!

Swagat India Bar and Bistro is an incredibly surprising offering of Indian dishes at the odd intersection of Kingsway and 118 Avenue on the traffic circle in Edmonton.First off, the exterior doesn't suggest that within is such amazing Indian food. It's a little run down. And when you enter the space, it's a bit of a dimly lit, similarly run down, interior. There seems to be a darker area where there appears to be a dance floor...perhaps karaoke and late night festivities?Anyways, the server was very kind and helpful. Some of the other diners were a little rambunctious...it is a little bit of a poorer area of town. The food was super good. They have a very diverse menu and all of their offerings were very good. The tastes were authentic and the presentations were lovely.Highly recommend if you can find a parking spot in this tight space.4 x ????

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to on the north end of the city! We usually order the butter chicken and beef vindaloo dishes with naan, coconut/saffron rice, and samosas on the side. The dishes were so rich and flavourful. The butter chicken is more on the tomatoey side, which is fine, but I usually prefer when it’s more creamy and less sweet. I think it just differs by preference and regional cooking style. The flavour was still amazing though. Each bite was just pure joy! The Kathmandu chicken momos were to die for. Would highly recommend.
Hakka noodles are really good from this place
