Sweet Basil Vietnamese Kitchen

This is some of the best Vietnamese food in the city. Authentic, delicious and the staff are the most friendly and welcoming people.

Terrible. The soup was flavourless and tasted like slightly salted water. The quality of the noodles were poor. It kept breaking apart on our chopsticks as we tried to eat it. The meat was super dry. Worse part was that the entire store smelled like bleach as we were eating. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Extremely rude behavior by the front staff when I was there to pick up my order. I think she is the supervisor/manager.

The service here is 10/10! Amazing staff!

I keep trying other pho places around the city so I have options. But none of them compare to sweet basil. They remember my order every time

Pho was decent. Small portions but the worst thing was the brocoli beef. The beef was so bland and spongy I fed it to my dog

The waiter was rude and ignored us for most of our meal , the noodles portion size is small.

I loved the chow fan fat noodle with beef, you can really taste the smokey wok flavour.

I love chicken pho there ! The only place I will order chicken pho !

Ordered two 4 colors vermicelli plate and vermicelli plate with beef. Asked for rice instead of vermicelli for all 3 plates. We got lots of rice, 2 tiny spring rolls, and maybe 8 thin slices of beef one inch wide for the beef plate, tiny cut pieces of protein for the 4 color plates. No veggies on plates.

You'll leave hungry and poor for paying that much and getting less than Wendy's!

I called the restaurant and she came up excuses. Never have I ordered a swap for rice that I didn't get the same toppings (protein, veggies, garnishes) as the menu item listed. All you're doing is swapping rice for noodles, not cutting the protein in half or eliminating everything else!!

The protein was freshly cooked but you only got a few pieces cut into small sizes. Not enough to feed anyone unless you fill up on the dry white rice. You're paying alot of money for a plate of rice.
Do not recommend! Stay away..

Love this place. Food is amazing every time, the spring rolls are the best in town. Me and my partner come here at least a couple times a month. The staff are very kind and attentive. Cute atmosphere, love that we can sit wherever we want.
