Great just great, owner and operator really cares about guests and the food quality being served. Great local eatery that will have you coming back for more soup and sandwiches. The sandwiches here all have a unique taste and appearance about them. The surroundings welcome you and if you like to just come in for a specialty coffee they can accommodate that too. The warm baked pretzel sandwiches are must try.
Excellent sandwiches and coffee!
I love the food and the people here, my fave sandwich in the city and I will make a trip to go get these renown pretzel bun sandwiches from anywhere. And always good for scoring points if you bring some home!!!
Edit to add:
My husband ate after I did. He found a clump of hair in his sandwich. I called just to let the staff know and was told they'd review camera footage, that it couldn't happen because she wears a hat to prepare them, and would like me to come back with the sandwich and the hair. Honestly, I find this silly, because it is Christmas and my husband had thrown out the napkin with the hair and the unfinished sandwich. We weren't pursuing any refund or anything, just letting them know, so to spend the time to return everything to them on top of the wasted food feels unreasonable to me.
Went in for the first time today and got three sandwiches. Mine was the Italian Bride. Delicious, albeit a bit messy. Price point is a bit higher than other local deli sandwiches in this area but I'd say worth it for the quality of the food and service.
Have had sandwiches from here for over 10 years and they are always delicious.
Reminds me of Italian bakery Great sandwiches! Stop by and have one you probably wouldn't be disappointed, Great for lunch not so much dinner time tho. Never tried the coffee either.
Loved it, got a large sandwich and soup combo and split it with my wife. Tons of food and tasted so good.

Simple, classic, absolutely tasty. Everything is SO FRESH. The vibe is chill and welcoming, order from the counter style. Absolutely recommend you give it a shot. Had the simple Gruyere sandwich in a regular size ... I can NOT imagine a large! The portions are excellent as reflected in the price. Absolutely comparable, but so much better. Go support this local small business ASAP!
Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian sandwich and there were lots more to choose from! Plus lots could be easily substituted.

Sandwiches were ok, not amazing but they tasted ok. Desert is overpriced to say the least. It looks great but would I pay $26 for the cup looking desert that nobody in my family ate, definitely not. Good concept but not good taste.

Those are by far the best sandwiches I ever had in Alberta. They are not cheap but it's definitely worth it.

Stopped by for some potato salad and a pretzel. The salad was huge and the pretzel was good. I'll get a sandwich next time I stop by.
