Best Lao food in Edmonton by far! If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out!

We arrived without reservations and the receptionist said the wait would be 20 minutes. However, it actually took 1 hour to be seated, another 45 minutes for our food to arrive, and we only had 15 minutes to eat because we were in a rush and had other errands to run.We didn't not finish our food and ended up taking out the left over. So we spent total of 2hrs. At the end we are not happy and very frustrated.

This is my go-to for flavourful Vietnamese food. Sure, the dishes can take a little while to come out, but that’s how you know they’re made fresh.. always piping hot and straight off the pan. I especially love their Pad Siew, and the iced tea combo is perfect with it.
There isn’t a ton of dining space, so I’d definitely recommend making a reservation. The place is always clean with warm, welcoming décor, which is always appreciated. Highly recommend!

Good place for small to medium crowed. We had few items and all of them were delicious. The tom yum soup was best. Seafood items were very fresh and testy. The employees were also very friendly and professional.

So my hubby is Lao and super pickie with Lao and Thai causine. We had stickie rice, a beef salad, papaya salad and friend chicken. Chicken had so much flavored and so crispy. The beef salad lapp had all these herbs that juts melted so well together. We asked for spicy dishes but you can adjust. The Thai ice tea was something I've never had. Its hard to explain the taste but it was delicious! The server was very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Great lighting and big open space. We will be back for sure! This is a local family owned place. A place to try! Great prices and we had left overs.

Food is great but literally every-time I come the hostess is so rude which makes for an awkward dinner.

generally amazing food, huge portion sizes so we had plenty to bring back even though we went to TOWN on our meals… however:
- one of us stated she was a vegetarian and was given a soup that (unbeknownst to her) had chicken broth, leading to her feeling extremely ill later.
- the mango sticky rice was not great: don’t love the glutinous rice choice, and there’s not nearly enough coconut flavour—the vanilla ice cream drowns out whatever coconut sauce there may have been. i could barely stomach it, super disappointing as a certified mango sticky rice lover :(
i will say the server was super understanding about the chicken broth incident and offered an actually-vegetarian meal for takeaway! and when we asked for a warm thai coffee, although they’re pre-made cold, he had one warmed up for us (heads up to any customers though don’t do that because they’re disgustingly sweet when warm).
in terms of atmosphere the decor is gorgeous with lots of southeast asian art on the walls, bathroom had only 2 stalls but they were relatively really private which was nice. also shout-out to whoever was on aux and putting on the r&b bops!
mishaps aside i did love it and will definitely come back sometime <3

Terrible service. Forgot to include condiments in my pick-up order and refused to fix the error. Best he offered was $2 credit for peanut sauce. Was a long time customer but service has been getting poorer since overtime. Prices going up, portions going down. Will not be going back

Colourfully delicious and huge servings!
The reason for the 1 star is because the food was satisfactory. Not as consistent as it used to be. But I’m rating this on service. Which was deplorable. Let’s start off with the sever taking my order. I ordered everything that I wanted off the menu and at the end he read it back to me. But one dish didn’t make it. I told another server Vee. She said she will put it through. It took so long to come in and by the time we were done our meal, the order had not come. Yet was still charged for it when it was there mistake. We ordered an orange crush pop. Vee took it to a table behind ours. When the table to them it wasn’t there’s. They took it to the back and brought it to our table not wanting us to notice the mistake nor apologizing for it. As we were ready to pack up and leave I told Vee that we’re ready to pack. She took the food to the back and never to be seen. She later came back and said ready for the bill? I said yes and she brought the bill and said she will go get the debit machine. Instead she tended to other guests taking orders, seating other guests and cleaning t tables. This went on for about 15 mins. I then called another server to bring me the machine. Honestly the worst service I’ve experienced. I’m sure I’d get better service at McDonald’s. She needs a straight up attitude adjustment.
