Delicious food! Need more tables! Really wanted to try out the Pineapple shrimp wraps but they were out. I recommend the Chicken Panang and Pad

Food is delicious here, very clean and good restaurant. only complaint is portion size. I paid $15.00 for the gai tod (fried chicken) appetizer for take out and the portion size is unacceptable for how much i paid for it.

Wait time is insane, I got one dish and waited over 1.5hrs.
Hands down my favorite restaurant in the city. Best pad Thai and curries! The portions are shareable and the quality of food is always 10/10. The new location on the south is great! Service is always friendly. Highly recommend

Sharable appetizer was terrible. Shrimp was dried out and flavorless. Wonton soup was edible but meat mixture in wonton tasted like liver and there were no sauces to adjust the flavor (no soy, no hot sauce). No beverages were offered and server never came back for us to ask for anything. Only 5 tables and 2 servers so no excuse.

It is in Calgary Trial, very convenient location. Traditional Thai and Lao’s food, the Tom Yum soup is tasty, Pad Thai’s portion is big, the chicken curry is ok, but the portion is small, the container looks big, actually couldn’t hold much in there. The staffs were nice, friendly. They don’t have much tables, if you are going during weekends or Friday nights, it is recommended to make a reservation. We will go back to try other dishes.

Visited the Calgary Trail location. Nice service and enjoyable dishes. Had the Pad Siew, Gang-Dang (Curry) and Coconut Rice. Has very pretty service dishware.

A very average restaurant. Food was ok but not great. The staff made mistakes but were friendly and fixed it. It's a low end restaurant. Better Thai places out there

Went there after going to the downtown location a million times! (No exaggeration) expected the same level of service.. not the case… I stood at the front where the male server looked at me multiple times and then eventually decided to walk over and seat us! 20min+ passed and not a single acknowledgement by any of the staff as they walked around us and served others! Very disappointing to say the least! We got to the point of walking out and leaving.. again zero acknowledgement! Will not be coming back

So far, Syphay has been my best dining experience in Edmonton. Although it seems they are short-staffed, and their Calgary Trail location is rather small, their meals are good and reasonably priced. I've been there twice and I'll certainly be visiting again.

We've been here several times and the food has been excellent. I always order Goong Krateum, which is described on the menu as "
Crispy Shrimp, Onions, Red and Green Peppers stir-fried in a Garlic Pepper Sauce." I ordered medium spicy. This time I ordered take-out. Food was ready on time. That's the only positive thing I can say. The shrimp was NOT crispy. It was rather soggy. The food tasted bland - no way this was medium spicy. It was very ordinary - the kind of quality something you expect at a fast food Thai place - not quality food with quality prices. I've been in food courts with better tasting food. VERY disappointed. Will no longer recommend to others. Will likely look for another Thai place to eat.
