Used to be one of my more favorite Chinese food places for the location and area.

But that as declined since covid has ended with the rise of food prices the quality here has shocked the community as far as Food goes.

Rubbery taste, less and less proteins in your dishes. Rice maker Rice soggy.

Wasn't what it used to be.

Vendor quality, Restaurant setting.

I hesitated to give this review because I was failed so completely it's hard to make it believable, but it is what it is. My goto place for latenight Chinese food has for years been All Happy, downtown, but last night I decided to skip the drive downtown, and try again (after at least 10 years break), this place that is 3 blocks from home. Firstly, the online ordering template was confusing at best and unusable at worst, so I called in directly. I explained the problem I was having with the ordering system, but was told to go back and try again! I asked why he couldn't just take my order over the phone, and seemingly irritated, agreed, but only after realizing i was going to pick it up, not needing delivery; he said, "Why didnt you SAY so!", like I was somehow at fault for something! I ordered Mongolian beef (allegedly spicy), pork dumplings, and a bowl of hot and sour soup. He handed me the POS unit to pay, and apparently it was waiting for me to input a tip amount so it wouldn't let me tap, until he took it back and reset it! I got home, and pulled out the dumplings to eat, and instead of the customary red vinegar these usually come with, there were 3 packets of soya sauce instead! These were otherwise fine, but hey, maybe they were purchased from Wing's!! The Mongolian Beef "stirfry", however, was watery, not spicy at all and tasted like it had 10 tbsp's of sugar in the "sauce." The "hot and sour soup" was equally as disgusting, watery, not hot OR sour, and the tofu wasn't even cooked!

I live less than 3 blocks away, and I won't be back!

Ordered for pickup since we’re nearby, and it was a reasonable wait and price for what we got. Portions were big and left us with plenty for lunches for the next couple of days. Didn’t like the shanghai noodles, they were curry-er than we expected. But the garlic broccoli, szechuan beef, and fried rice were excellent!

If you feel like ordering here. Walk to convenience store get cup of noodle it will probably have better flavours. Our chowmein was literally boiled noodles with boiled vegetables not a spice or salt in site . If you don’t like flavours this is the place to go for.

“Hole in the wall” spot. BUT yall in to get off ya dusty behinds, go get a dinner for 2 and feed a family of 5! The prices were more than reasonable for the portion of food, the food was and is incredibly fresh, great flavouring & you don’t walk out feeling like a sumo wrestler afterwards! The vegetables in the chow mein were fresh af. The chicken balls…. I know why the chicken crossed the road now.

10/10 ??????

Couldn't even place an order for pickup without them yelling over the phone. Ridiculous for the prices.

So nasty. You can get way better from any mall food court. The chow main is literally soggy raman noodles. Wonton soup isnt too bad. Tastes like water mostly. The fries arent even any good. How do you f up fries. First time ordering from there and that will definitely not happen again.

I ordered Szechuan chicken. What I got was honey chicken. That is not Szechuan chicken and I am diabetic so I could not eat it. I called them and they said well that’s how they make it. They are rude and no one should ever buy from them.

It was awful the atmosphere was awful as well as the staff and the cleanliness. The deep dried shrimp was hard as a rock. The sweet and sour pork tasted like dirty old socks. Finally I ordered chicken fried rice..I was left asking Where's the chicken. Lastly I told the server everyone's rice at the table was cold. He asked me "what can I do about it" ? and promptly walked away because he had already gotten our money. My advice DO NOT GO GENTLY into schesuan gardens.

Wheelchair accessibility: No. Matter of fact there was slippery patches where snow built up and water leaking from above causing a slippery mess. My friend almost slipped
