Szechuan Paramount, located in the Chapelle Area on 41St Ave, is a new take-out only restaurant with a well-lit, clean setting and friendly staff. They offer a varied menu with plenty of parking.
One customer's lunch experience was positive, having ordered #4, the pan-fried beef and rice noodles, and found it to have excellent flavor in a quick and satisfying meal.
However, a dinner experience for two was disappointing. The black bean sauce and lemon chicken dishes had watery sauces with little flavor, and the sweet and sour pork was found to be chewy. The sweet and sour pork and chicken balls received scores of 8/10 and 10/10 respectively, while the Shanghai and fried rice were rated highly at 9/10 and 10/10. Unfortunately, the spring rolls and beef with mixed vegetables received a score of 0, with comments of being "absolutely disgusting" and "raw beef" with an overpowering salt taste.
Overall, the experience at Szechuan Paramount was mixed, with some positive and negative feedback on different dishes.
