I ordered wonton soup, ginger beef and steamed rice. The rice was excellent. The wontons were very doughy, the wonton wrappers were thick. The filling wasnt very meaty. The ginger beef was thick with coating that tasted like flour. I was really disappointed to be honest. 55$ with tip and I threw the soups out and I ate 1/4 of the ginger beef then tossed it too. Very disappointed...back to Jins Chinese for me

The restaurant smelled soooo good when I walked in. Ordered dinner for two for pick up, and when I forgot one of my items, they personally delivered it to my house free of charge. Then they added in a free pop. The food tasted fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.

Order food online and paid via app on New Years Eve at 5:35 pm. Emailed confirmed pickup at 6:35 pm (1 hr later). Went to pickup and food was not ready. The place was packed with people waiting for their food also. Ended up waiting until 7:16 pm to finally get my order. No one from staff would talk to me about my order. I wanted to cancel and leave as my kids and wife were in the car outside (car was on wasting gas since it was very cold). Was late to a party because of the 40 min late order. Service was 0/10. They should have communicated with customers better and not take new orders if they were overwhelmed or behind. Instead they made everyone suffer with no clue when we would get our orders. If the order is that late, I should have been able to get a refund and just cancel my order. The staff did not apologize to anyone for the delays or update customers on the status of their orders.

Save yourself from this place the food was horrible. Especially the halal options they were priced 4-5 dollars more for each item compared to the original menu and wasn’t included in any of the deals they had. The chicken was rubbery and tasted premade and frozen.

We recently tried their halal menu and we're so glad to have discovered an authentic halal Chinese spot in Edmonton! The orange chicken and Mongolian beef were definitely our favorites. The owner (Peter) is incredibly friendly, and the portion sizes are more than generous. The best part is the separate halal kitchen, ensuring the food is prepared with care and authenticity. Highly recommend!

Their new halal menu is great. I had the orange chicken and ginger beef and fried rice- amazing. The wontons were crispy and excellent. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Kung Po Chicken with peanuts though. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!
Seating inside is limited (there might be 12 chairs)
They gave 10% off for paying in cash too

Absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. I have no idea what was inside the wontons, nothing I have ever tasted before. If they think their homemade spring rolls would be more tasteful than the regular rolls, then they are sadly wrong. The thick stogie outer wrapper and strange tasting filling is beyond description. The food for the main course was totally tasteless and bland. All in all not worth the money. Recommend going somewhere else.
Really disappointed. What kind of fake chicken are you serving people?? So disgusting and a complete waste of $50.
