Good most of the time.
Always live going to Paramount. Tried many different chinese place but this one is one of the better one. Huge portion and fair price. Love their general tao chicken.

I ordered Szechuan Beef, and chicken vegetable noodles. The beef has no flavour, I couldn’t tell if it was beef, or chicken or fish or egg coated and deep fried and then tossed in SUGAR SYRUP literally speaking!! It didn’t have any flavour at all except being super sweet. Same goes with the noodles, the chicken texture looked and tasted so weird, I was so hungry that I ate berceuse I was almost scared to ask or guess what animal it might be. There was no flavour in the noodles either. I would definitely prefer store bought instant noodles 100 times over than eating those flavourless food again in my life! I was craving Chinese food so I went there only because they have halal option. I didn’t know that they don’t welcome dining in, I had a toddler, there was no high chair. But I was not upset about the ambiance or the absence of high chair. I just wanted some good food, not dining in ambience, that’s why I drove 30 minutes from home. This was such a horrible food experience in a long time in Edmonton! And the food was so expensive! Comparing the quality and quality, it was not worth it at all. I have no idea how such a pathetic business is running. I almost felt like being scammed.

If you’re looking for Chinese food not a blend of Indian and Chinese, maybe try something else.
Family was craving some Chinese takeout and I was craving an egg roll…only to be pretty disappointed. The egg rolls were extremely doughy and tasted like cardamom and cumin. Those are flavours that should Not be in an egg roll. It tasted like a samosa with bean sprouts. I didn’t even eat all of it; threw half of it away because it just wasn’t what I wanted. Also ordered general tso’s chicken, Cantonese chow mein, lemon chicken and vegetables. Those dishes were okay but not great; kind of bland, and all of them had a slight curry taste. Won’t order from here again. If we’re craving “Chinese” we’ll order somewhere else. And if we’re craving Indian will also order somewhere else.

Was in the area and came in for something to eat, was greeted right away and was given lots of suggestions on what I should try.
Everything on the menu looks great but we eneded up going with dim sum and some fried rice and orange chicken.
Everything came out in no time and was very delicious. I will be going back for sure to try the rest of the menu.

I arrived 10 minutes before closing and they refused to serve. They refused to sell me food. Since then, I decided never again. Business involves compromising

I ordered wonton soup, ginger beef and steamed rice. The rice was excellent. The wontons were very doughy, the wonton wrappers were thick. The filling wasnt very meaty. The ginger beef was thick with coating that tasted like flour. I was really disappointed to be honest. 55$ with tip and I threw the soups out and I ate 1/4 of the ginger beef then tossed it too. Very disappointed...back to Jins Chinese for me

The restaurant smelled soooo good when I walked in. Ordered dinner for two for pick up, and when I forgot one of my items, they personally delivered it to my house free of charge. Then they added in a free pop. The food tasted fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.
