I work in the area and not sure why I had never thought to come here. I've seen the sign many times but had never looked into what they offer. It was surprisingly bigger than I had expected when inside. I was dining solo and was sat somewhat in the middle which felt a little odd but I didn't mind it too much. They have a fairly good looking menu, something for majority of people. I went with the main menu as I didn't have the appetite for their AYCE. I had a tobiko and unagi sushi, oyster ponzu and udon. The total for the quality of food was a little mismatched but the meal satisfied the craving. The service was average, not the most hospitable and took a little longer than expected but not the worst. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming again but wouldn't necessarily be my first pick compared to other similar places in the area for a similar price point.

This is our favourite AYCE sushi in Edmonton and we have tried them all. Sometimes the service is slow but keep in mind everything is prepped fresh. Relax your getting high quality food, be patient. The spicy tuna/salmon is unreal. Always fresh and delicious.

My first time here and it didn’t disappoint! I got the dynamite cone, king crab sunomono, and maki combo.

The dynamite cone was very good, hot and crispy on the inside. The nori was still crispy when served.

The king crab sunomono was good. I’m really big on sunomonos and have tried other restaurants version and this one did satisfy my expectations. I do prefer mine pretty sour and vinegary though so i wouldn’t say they have the best sunomono in my opinion. Also I wasn’t a fan of the noodles, a bit too thin in my opinion.

The maki combo consisted of 4pc each of rainbow, tsunami, and maximite rolls. The rainbow one was okay, the tsunami was AMAZING, and the maximite was also very good. If you’re stuck on choosing a roll as they have so many options, you definitely need to try the tsunami roll. It’s perfectly crispy cause of the tempura and not overloaded with sauce so it didn’t feel heavy on the stomach.

The service was great, just one server working but she was very fast and kind. It was also pretty busy too but the food still came out fast.

Atmosphere and decor was nice. They also have Tatami rooms I would recommend if you want a more unique experience. They also have all you can eat options and happy hour from 3-6pm. 7.99 for 20oz of sapporo during happy hour is pretty awesome.

Overall everything was good, more honestly I would rate the overall experience 7/10 but I would definitely visit again for a quick lunch.

I recently visited this small Japanese restaurant nearby where I live The place itself is cozy and the menu offers a decent variety of dishes for the price but the service is painfully slow. Waiting this long for simple orders completely defeats the purpose of “all you can eat” Dishes came out one at a time often with long gaps in between which makes the meal feel dragged out A few items even had to be reminded about before they finally showed While the food itself was fine once it finally showed up however the slow service made the whole experience frustrating If you are hungry and expecting a steady flow of dishes prepare to be disappointed !!! 🤷🏻‍♀️REMInder: 90mins only for ALL YOU CAN EAT😐

The service here is always excellent. My partner and I have been coming here for date nights for over a year. The food is reliably tasty, the private rooms provide a nice quiet environment, and the wait staff are always polite and attentive. We asked for extra ginger and they brought us a heaping dish of it. I’ve never felt so seen and heard

The food at this place is really poor. The udon is not authentic and comes out too firm, the beef is overly sweet and tough, the tempura is greasy, and the rice isn’t proper Japanese sushi rice. On top of that, one of the older waitresses has a bad attitude and isn’t friendly to customers at all.

This is the worst sushi restaurant I've ever visited! The service is atrocious, and the waiter is a complete disaster. The prices and the food quality are completely mismatched. The place was practically empty, yet they refused to let me sit in a corner just because I asked! My back is killing me, and I didn't want to sit on a hard chair. In this empty restaurant, they had the audacity to say NO! I had to argue just to get a comfortable seat. The waitress claimed they were busy, but there was only one other table occupied besides mine!

Ever since I got here in Canada, this restaurant used to be my favorite and my go-to comfort food restaurant. The lady server who worked today on lunch time made me feel it is my fault that she is all by herself serving food on a busy day. This is disappointing as I kept calling like more than 5 times before going here to make order ahead of time or make a reservation atleast. When she seated me on my table, she keeps on arguing and shouting at me that she is by herself and all. Food is always been good. It is somehow misjudgment from the management on putting one server on a busy Friday lunch. I hope to take action with the server as well to give her coaching on customer service as well.
