Simple requests cannot be met by this restaurant. The amount of Wasabi and ginger was ridiculously tiny. Asked for extra on my delivery order and was completely ignored.
35 pieces delivered so it wasn't a small order and there is definitely not enough . I regularly ask for extra wasabl and ginger everywhere I order from. Won't see my business again.
I have been to some amazing sushi places and unfortunately this was not one of them.
I can only give them a 2. Sushi was not great. They Gyoza was not very good at all.
I was not impressed by the service - my friend ate most of his meal before I received mine.
I honestly will not return - the bill was not cheap and I could have had better sushi from Save-On Next door
This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Do not go for the “all you can eat” option — every sushi roll tasted exactly the same, with no real flavor or freshness. I genuinely love sushi, but after eating here, I feel completely turned off by it.
The drinks (Coke and Sprite) were clearly watered down with tap water — no taste at all. The service was just as disappointing: cold, inattentive, and borderline rude. I haven’t felt this disrespected in a restaurant in a long time.
Total waste of money. I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone.
The quality of the sushi is unparalleled and brought tears to my eyes!!! We will be back soon:)
Sashimi is always fresh here. Good portions as well. Felt crowded in the middle tables although I was on my own so I got a 2 seat table in the center. Felt like I'm on display haha. Also they need a proper dish for soy sauce and sushi. Without a larger dish and just a mini soy sauce dish I felt I made a mess. But all in all great food and my prior comments are just nit picking. Although There's always room for improvement.
I ordered a tempera and you can taste is old oil, which made the dish very mediocre. And the rest that I ordered wasn’t that great either.
Me and my wife usually go here often for AYCE, but the last time we went here it turned our taste buds and our feelings sour. There were exemplary servers when we went, even though the atmosphere was buzzing with a lot of patrons. We tipped them because the service was great! This last server we had felt like she didn't want to be there to serve us, and when the bill came, I didn't want to tip, so when she saw me skip the option to tip, she demanded that I give her a tip just because of the reason that she served us! THE AUDACITY. I decided to 'accidentally' pay the bill quickly and leave. We're gonna find another AYCE hidden in this City's sleeves.
Food was delicious, atmosphere was calm and very pleasant. Service was good
My absolute favourite restaurant in Edmonton. You will not be disappointed!
WORST JAPANESE FOOD I’VE TASTED
Restaurantji Recommends
Terrible sushi place DO NOT COME HERE. The atmosphere is good but is completely and utterly ruined by all the dust around the tables. The food is so mid and there’s hundreds of better places, go to anywhere else please, the sushi is mostly vegetables and no meat and it is sooooo overpriced. And DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE WAITING TIMES!!!! The waiting times is the worst here. I’ve waited less time for a ride in universal studios than this place. The waiting times are so terrible and disgusting and I’ve waited for almost 1 hour for my food which is 1 sushi roll, 1!!!! I guess this is the end of my review because I fell lazy today and just had to tell you to NOT go here.
I got food poisoning from this place, and spent the following day vomiting. Avoid the surf clam and beef tataki. Not to mention that the sashimi in the all-you-can-eat menu is cut smaller to save costs.
They made serious mistakes on a delivery order, which they fixed 2 hours later and still missed my side of rice, struggled to find my adress which resulted in our replacment food being ice cold. I had to make several ohone calls and waste a significant amount of time just to receive our 77 dollars worth of food properly. They still dodnt get my side of rice.
The food is delicious, but whether to tip and how much to tip is the customer's personal right. Please stop asking for tips from customers.
They have a worker who receives people in a very provocative way. I came to them to pick up an order. She told me in a provocative way, “Sit there. You always arrive quickly.” Knowing that it was the first time I had picked up an order from them, she spoke to her friend in their language and looked at me in a provocative way and laughed.
