The pasta here is incredible — one of the best I’ve ever had! The restaurant feels full of history with all the beautiful family photos on the wall. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Truly a gem!
We have been enjoying Tasty Tomato since they opened in the 1990s. Hands down the best pasta in Edmonton & better than Italy! Their boscaioli is my partner's favorite, their bruschetta (a non-menu item) is a must, the home made tiramisu is divine & everything is worth at least 1 try -- delicious 😋. Joe is a stellar host & the servers are attentive, but not intrusive. Still trying to get their secret recipes! 😉
This is a cute place that has been around forever. If you read the newspaper articles you can see that it has been a neighbourhood favourite for 30+ years. The problem is is I think it's had its day in the sun. I've been here a few times and it seems to be better when it's busy. Last visit it was a slower evening. Not a weekend.
