We had ordered the dinner for 3.
Pro: it was done quickly (maybe too quickly)
Issues: order was wrong, we requested kung po shrimp, but it came out as chicken.
Also we had ensured it would include the chicken fried rice by upsizing the soup to reach the $70 amount.
However, we didn’t get the fried rice.
Most likely kitchen error since the receipt print out was accurate.
Singapore noodle and wor wonton were good.
Note: atmosphere is left 5 stars because we did take out and it wouldn’t be a fair rating.

I’ve eaten here before and never had issues. Just ordered $100 worth of food and found everything to be incredibly bland! Nothing had flavour. Everything had the same bland battered taste. All sauces tasted the same. The onion cakes which use to be my favourite was raw in the middle and barely any green onion. The wonton was just a watery broth. Had to add a ton of soy sauce to make it taste just ok. Not impressed!! This place is either going down hill overpriced or was a bad day. Either way. Was not a happy customer with what I paid!

I ordered about $90 of Chinese food for New Year's for my family and it took about 1 hour for delivery when I live about 10 city blocks away, and the food tasted old and warmed up in the microwave! I will never order from this restaurant again.

Worst Chinese food ever.
We decided to order Chinese food for New Year’s Eve. We also ordered for my parents.
We were told to pick up at 3pm
My husband got there at 3 and they said no 3:30
It was over $100 for each order.
Everything was cold, tasteless, the ginger beef was too tough to bite and dry.
Pineapple Sweet and sour pork ribs were dry in a yellow sauce that didn’t cover them but there was a good amount of oil at the bottom of the container.
The ginger beef was yellowish colour with no taste and dry. The beef in black bean sauce was ok and warm but a bit sourish, I hope we don’t get sick.
Everything else was room temperature and they are 15 blocks from where we live so there should not have been time to get cold.
They did give us an extra order or rice for being over $70
My mom noticed that the cardboard at the bottom of the bag said that the containers were dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe so I guess we got some Tupperware type containers lol
There are so many great Chinese food places in Edmonton, I wish we had gone somewhere else.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, don't waste your money and make sure you can chew hard meat if you decide to go.
Extremely disappointed.
Happy New Year anyway 🥂

Been coming here for over 10 years, as far back when there used to be a Starbucks a couple doors down — my family and I swear by it and won’t get Chinese food anywhere else ❤️

I accidentally stumbled across this place when I happen to be on the south side of the city and I have to admit if it weren't for its location it would be my regular and preferred Chinese restaurant probably. I went inside and found an elderly couple very friendly and I was extremely impressed with their food. I got a couple of combo plates to take home to the family so that we could try out different stuff and every single item was fantastic. I don't know what they do to their rice but it's so good. The chow mein was good too not the crispy noodles but the soft noodles which are my favorite. My son really enjoyed their chicken balls, they had huge pieces of chicken, their sweet and sour sauce was also good. The beef with vegetables was fantastic. And even the free spring rolls that they tossed in the bag were amazing. I recommend this place very highly. It's not really a sit down and eat restaurant. It's a very small space. They do have a couple of tables for sit down but if you got their takeout you would miss nothing. It took me a half an hour to get home and even when I got home the food was still piping hot. 5/5 would go again .

This place is amazing, i have had their food three times now and its consistent, fresh and delicious. Fair portions with very fair prices. My new go-to chinese. Thank you Tasty world! :)
Very tasty!! I love their soya sauce chow mein. Simple but one of my favs. The dinner for one is very generous portion, is enough for 2 reasonable size plates. Thank you Tasty World - i will be back! I think you guys will be my new go-to for Chinese, very happy with my order the last two times <3
