Food was fine, but we had to wait around an hour for the food. It wasn’t even particularly busy (many empty tables) so I have no idea why they were so slow.

Great little spot! The milk tea is so good, tastes just like they make in Hong Kong! The set lunches are an amazing value! Lots of good options for whatever Chinese food you're in the mood for!

Really good. Friendly service from this ma and pa shop. Healthy portions, reasonable prices, and their complimentary tea was delicious! Something about it was amazing. We loved their bbq rice plate, their beef broth, and their pork was also really good. We even loved the cold milk tea that came with the bear ice cube. A nice touch! We'll be back.
Oh, and their tipping option even gave the option for 10%. No one does this anymore in the city, so I tipped them more than I normally would because I appreciate the fact that they're not trying to force higher tipping. When I see higher tipping options as the lowest option, I tend to tip less if the service was just mediocre. But their service was worth more, and they were humble enough not to ask for more, so I gave them more.

Generous portions for the pricing, friendly staff, and the food was tasty. Drinks were good too! Parking is unfortunately quite limited, and the space is quite small, so it’s good for small groups!

First time trying Tea House Cafe and we were pleasantly surprised! Food was tasty, good wok hei (flavourful from the char of the wok), and portion sizes were generous.
I got a satay beef stir fry with rice noodles and my husband tried a curry. We were both very satisfied. Service was friendly and prompt. Seating is limited as the place is small, and the layout is slightly awkward. Good for small groups.

Decent cantonese food. No complaints. Has a standard mix of fake and “real” chinese food. Would go back if in the area but are better places overall.

The milk tea is rich enough (it’s a pity that only one cup is sold), and the stir-fried river noodles are delicious?

Cozy booth. Decent hk milk tea and tea time special. Good size for light late lunch. Good flavor. Food was ready in 15 minutes. Quick and friendly service around 2pm. Stayed for a few hours to chat and do some work and they kept refilling our drinks. Nice to have a hk style cafe restaurant.

Baidu c tea restaurant in edmonton
I had seen an advertisement for this place in the newspaper, but I didn't have a chance to come. I went out early this morning so I stopped by to try it out.
When we arrived at 10 o'clock in the morning, there were basically no customers. We were seated quickly. The seats looked relatively small, but it was not too crowded to sit in. The space inside was a little small, and two people could not walk side by side in the aisle at the same time.
The menu and tea arrived quickly. I looked at the food tray and found that most of the items in the tea restaurant are available, including breakfast set + porridge, noodles and rice.
We ordered the beef brisket lo mein breakfast set + $1 more for a West Toast
The portion of beef brisket noodles is quite large, but the side dish of choy sum is a bit bitter and may not be that comfortable to eat.
There are quite a few choices in the breakfast set, including hash browns, omelettes, bacon, and pineapple buns.
Western toast tastes pretty good, not particularly greasy, and tastes good
Breakfast is close to $15 to $20 per person. The price-performance ratio is still good, so I give it 4 stars. I can recommend friends near the store to try it. I don’t know if it will be particularly busy on weekends, so I recommend traveling during off-peak hours.
ps: When I went to eat again recently, I ordered hot and sour noodles. Except for the flavor of garlic chili sauce, I couldn’t taste much else. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

It's our go to place for Hong Kong style Cantonese breakfast. Price is very affordable for the amount of food you get.
It's legit with the breakfast combo sets where you get eggs, a meat, bread and carb (noodle).
The milk tea is especially good. It's the perfect flavor. I never need to add any sugar to it and drink it straight up. Best HK milk tea in YEG.
Only downside is that it is a small restaurant. So there aren't many tables. Don't come here if you have more than 6 in your party.
