I'd been eating tofu pad Thai for how many years and yesterday was the worst experienced I had in this location..2 pieces of tofu???really?? For $15 ?! This is a scam..and taste is really off from this location.
I ordered a medium spice gluten free chicken pad thai today and got a shrimp pad thai.. when I told them I asked for chicken the guy just stared at me and the girl that took my order said no it was shrimp and I know I didn't say that because I always order chicken. So even though I hadn't eaten any yet and wanted to change proteins so it would be what I actually ordered they just ignored me and didn't fix it. I checked my receipt and was charged for just a gluten free pad thai and large water bottle when I actually got a Sprite. The tail shells were still on most of the shrimp as well and noodles were undercooked. I've noticed the quality and flavor hasn't been the same lately at all. Much more bland and doesn't have any real heat even when I order it spicy. This place used to be much better.

Good food especially for the price! I like how this restaurant chain enables customers to dictate the level of spice added to the food. I myself really love spicy food so I like it hot but little details like that I think make the place more accessible for others and some places do not take those little extra steps.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. If you want curry no place in HUB mall does it better and there are many other great dishes if that is not quite your thing.
So I’m glad to see many people saying the same thing so I’m not crazy. The food here is so bad, it has made me dislike Thai Express. All other locations I’ve been too are so good, but this one is not at all. I thought the meal was a joke. I was so hungry but threw it in the trash. The staff is nice but maybe needs more cooking training. This food is too expensive to be messing up like this. They just don’t have the correct recipe for whatever reason. Unfortunately sorry is not enough.

Thai express is one of my favourite take out restaurants but this meal was so terrible and expensive that I felt the need to write a review.
I got the sweet and sour chicken thinking it was supposed to be the deal of the day (it was full price so their deals of the week are misleading). There was barely any flavour to the sauce making the chicken, rice and veggies soggy and tasteless.
My wife got the chicken pad Thai and again there was very little sauce and no flavour. Just rubbery chicken.
Spending $55 on a meal this bad is disheartening to say the least. Especially since I was not given a receipt. That’ll be the last time I’m going to that location, that is for certain.

The portion size of the food is ridiculously small. I asked for extra noodles for $2.10 and it looked like the regular amount

Fantastic flavor! We got the mango and pineapple rice bowls. They were fast and generous. I would recommend to anyone going here!

Don’t eat here. Service was fine but food was awful. The noodle from the Pad Thai is very soggy and they fall apart. The eggs are mixed up with the sauce dude to being beaten up too soon in the pan, making it looks thick and unappetizing. Never come back

The eggs were so good. Mixed together with the noodles and sauces. You just have to appreciate how they cook it in the wok. You can customize your what veggies you want to put and its fresh. Will be back for sure. ❤️
