The Banquet (Edmonton ICE District)

Came here because we didn’t want to wait in a line for some food and drinks downtown.

1. The service: the waitress came every so often but often got things wrong and forgot stuff like our waters and some shots we ordered. Not a big deal as maybe it was due to the music being so loud maybe she couldn’t hear us, but she had kind of an attitude, maybe she was just having a bad day.

2. The drinks: every cocktail that we ordered just tasted off. Maybe it was the alcohol or maybe simply the ice being made with not so fresh water and dropped into the drinks.

3. The Food: we ordered the Nachos, the hot wings, the rice and chicken bowl and the spicy noodle bowl. The only thing that gets a pass is the nachos, but the proportions were weird because it was a tower instead of spread out and even. Everything else tasted cheap and almost with no flavour.

This whole 3 hour night of drinks, food and bowling for 3 people costed over $350 before the tip…

Just super disappointing for how much we spent. Might be back for bowling and a cheeky beer, but it’s not worth much else.

Food is either beyond salty or has zero seasoning. The fish batter was also raw and had no flavor. Manager was playing the music way beyond comfort and we could barely hear each other. Even the waitress complained about it. The watress was great.

Food was great and the service was very pleasant as well. It was especially nice receiving free drink tickets at the pride parade and retreating to a cool place on a hot summer day. Unfortunately I have to rate 4 stars overall because we paid to play gangnam style on their jukebox system and they shut it off :( why no gangnam style

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at The Banquet
and everything was absolutely outstanding! The service was impeccable, the food arrived all at once and hot, and everyone had so much fun. We are so glad to have discovered such a wonderful venue in Edmonton — definitely a place worth recommending

Came here before the Tate Mcrae concert. Our server was incredible and food was great. However, they kept playing weird house music or country music after us asking them to play Tate. Have been here before other concerts and they typically play the artists music. The manager was even aware of the Tate concert. Very weird.

Raph was my waiter and have never been happier with anyone in the restaurant industry, will never go to another bar/restaurant if raph is working

Came here for food and some drinks while bowling Raph served us he was on point no delay and helped us out alot.,Great service will definitely come back!

Just another poorly executed chain establishment. The drinks were overly watery and tasted like straight juice. And my Korean fried chicken wrap used Franks Red hot sauce, be so fr. Waitress was so nice tho. Just go for beers and that’s it!

A beautiful place. Our server Camille was excellent. Comfy booths, and Camille was very informative and helpful. We will be back. Oh, and good wings at a great price on Tuesdays

This is one of the best bars in town to watch a game. They have a great selection of beers and other drinks, and the staff is always friendly.
