My Boyfriend and I went last night and To be honest it was mid. The positive, is that the staff were great and the Atmosphere I liked it and it was cozy. To me the strong suit is the wine and whiskey for sure!The food on the other hand was very mid...Didn't hate it but didn't love it and we thought it was lacking.To start: we shared the French onion soup and the pork belly.The French onion soup came out luke warm and hardly any cheese Crusted over the top.The pork belly itself was pretty tasty but the rice didnt seem fully cooked. Presentation of it, looked awesome!We both got the Short rib, again mine came out on the cooler side while he said his did come out the warmer side. Short rib was okay, but we both felt it was missing some flavor, especially in the peppercorn sauce.For drinks we both had a whiskey sour and it was really good. The zest and flavor in it was great ?

I went for the first time last night, and the vibe was so amazing and a great girls night or date night spot. The service was incredible - when they found out I just got engaged they went above and beyond! Highly recommend this place to everyone, they have different weekly specials too.
Great food and better selection of whiskey. I had their monthly flight and it was great. I'd recommend getting a reservation on the weekends, it seemed to fill up

This place is a hidden gem. Food was amazing, their wine and scotch list is impressive, and the service and the atmosphere were top notch. Definitely going back to try every single thing on the menuParking: Located in a strip mall. If you go for dinner, the majority if not all of the other businesses will be closed. I've introduced many people to The Bothy over a number of years and have always received the greatest hospitality no matter how busy they are. Perfect date spot and there's something for whisky and wine lovers alike. Also love their charcuterie options, burger and savory pies. All drams and no drama (sorry, I had to.)

Love it every time I go here. A peerless selection of glorious dusty (discontinued and extinct) scotch whiskies like Bruichladdich from years ago and Dallas Dhu, a very rare bottle to stumble across. I get the haggis every time I go as it’s to die for but this time I tried the succulent pork belly and kimchi too.Absolute gem of a spot.
