Delicious food, good service and decently priced. Tried the lobster poutine and the crav boil and each were filling and cooked perfectly

Terrible experience! We went for our anniversary and the server was rude right from the start, giving us attitude while taking our order , made us feel unwelcome. When the food was brought to our table, it was placed down in a manner that felt careless and disrespectful , almost as if it were being thrown at us .The food was awful — we ordered medium spice but it came way too spicy, and it was drowned in minced garlic with no real flavor. The only positive note was the supervisor, who was kind and professional in contrast to our server. However, the combination of poor service and poor food quality left us with a negative impression of the restaurant.

Visited this location in south Edmonton common after many years. They have maintained it very well, very clean and had a nice ambience
Went there for lunch on a Saturday.
Tried the lobster boil, captains boil sauce and heat level at medium, 2 sides of corn and potato.
The meal was the best ever. The lobster was massive with so much of meat, sauce was perfect. The corn and potato was cooked perfectly. Paired this with the Sapporo beer.
It was an afternoon in heaven
Now the servers were absolutely wonderful, attentive, interactive and very good.
Definitely recommend and I will also have to go back.

The food was pretty good, the spices in the “captains boil” option are nice and portion sizes are fairly big but things are pretty pricey for frozen seafood. King Crab option is not worth it (100$ per pound MP) especially when everything pretty much just tastes like the seasonings it was cooked in.
Only received small scissors for cutting through the crab and they do not provide any other typical “crab utensils” and get given a fondue fork when you ask. (Tell me how that’s supposed to work lol). One crab cracker for a table of 8
Service is just ok and half the food came out 10 minutes before the other half.
Also they are VERY strict on the fact that they’ll give your reservation away if you are even 5 minutes late, but when we arrived the place was a ghost-town.
Overall I would probably rate this place as a 6/10 and I won’t be back soon, it seems like their system works better if you are a party of 2. Definitely a once in a while type of thing for how much you pay and what you get.

Two thumbs up to the team of Southside Edmonton location especially to Gladys who gave excellent customer service. Food is great, I will definitely recommend this place for seafood cravings.

The waitress had the worst attitude imaginable — zero respect, zero courtesy.
I wouldn’t treat anyone the way she treated us.
This place should seriously reconsider who they hire.
If I step foot in here again, I must have lost my mind.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.

We picked up from Captain’s Boil and they told us it would take 20 minutes — but it ended up taking 50 minutes. We couldn’t even go home; we had to wait inside the restaurant the whole time.

This was extremely frustrating and such poor service. I really hope they improve their operations because this was an awful experience.

Just went to the captains boil and they had ruined the lobster, had no meat in the lobster at all, poked holes in the lobster
service was awful. Also had to de vein the shrimp ourselves which I found really weird and never had to do that at a restaurant before, I thought that would have been done before ?

We went in and had Seafood boils the clams were absolutely mush we didn't have a good experience with service either. However this was a while ago. When we brought it up after paying the supervisor that was on shift did not want to give us a refund instead insisted on us taking $100 store credit. Which we didn't overly want as we kind of had the ick from Seafood when we are ready to try it again I did call to make sure $100.00 was still there and I was told that it must have been on a Post-It note that got thrown out when previously I was told it was in their system and could be used whenever never expires. I have called I have emailed I have reached out I've tried everything not to leave a public review. And it has not been responded to you at all. If you ever get offered a store credit at this location do not accept it it gets flushed down the toilet and they will not honor it

I was really disappointed with my recent experience. I bet by the pictures you can’t tell it’s even a seafood boil, if you look closely you can find the crab legs and egg and sausage, look very close. I don't recall ordering so much minced garlic, and unfortunately, the dish was not to my taste. It was quite unpleasant, matter of fact DISGUSTING. I ended up wasting my money. I had requested if I could have sauce on the side since there wasn't any in the boil, but I was told it wasn't possible due to it being a secret recipe. We decided to pay our bill and try the seafood boil at Red Lobster instead, which was a much better experience. I would recommend giving Red Lobster a try for their new seafood boils!

Went in, seated , waited a long time for our food, every server had a stink face like their job was the end of the world. Our fries showed up undercooked raw in the center, I tried to get a servers attention she clearly heard me but ignored me I started to raise my voice and another server stepped in and helped the only way be with a smile and working attitude. Got our main meals I had chicken but I thought I was eating squid with how rubbery it was. Then we paid and my woman went to the rest room well I waited every employee gave me the stink eye as they walked past except the 1 while we left and she told us to have a good night. Needless to say we didn’t tip, if I had cash on me I would of gave it to that 1 girl.

Food was terrible, very overpriced and small portions. We tried the crawfish and king crab. The crab was $85 for 3 legs, and had barely any taste, not enough sauce. The crawfish was so bad we didn’t finish any of them, the sides are poor. Anything here was bad. Would never come back nor recommend. (Edit)
Said they’d reach out.. never have. They’re just trying to act like they care.
