I’d heard great things, so I dropped by for a to-go drink. Service was very slow, but the majority of the tables were taken, so I guess that’s to be expected. What I did not expect was for the hot chocolate to have no chocolate at all and a very strange taste. I don’t know if they forgot to add the chocolate or didn’t stir the drink, but it was not a hot chocolate.

Each time we have been recently, every booth has been occupied by a single person. They are silently engrossed working on a laptop. There is no chatty buzz. We sit on stools at the counter if they are available. There is nowhere to hang a coat so we have to sit on it. The latte is fine and served in a very nice pottery mug. The croissants are served on badly scratched plastic plates which need replacing.
I love The Colombian! I normally go to the OG location in Glenora, but tried this location out for the first time. I liked the booths, although they are a bit of a commodity, and the abundance of natural sunlight.My go tos are the vanilla latte and avocado toast - both were scrumptious here. I also really appreciate the design and the quality of their to go cups.Quality coffee and food. Nice chill, laid back but classy vibe. Service is friendly but minimal.
