I like this place. They have a horror movie theme going on. Pictures on the wall and larger than life mannequins of Freddy, Jason, Pinhead, and Ghostface hanging out and looking menacing. My friend had the Frankenstein burger and loved it. Also had the chicken wings (whiskey BBQ) and they were delicious. The owner Kristine (apologies if I spelled name wrong) was super nice and friendly. All in all a good experience.Check it out if you're a horror movie buff or even if you are not.

Good beer spot, super cool horror themed pub!

This horror themed bar is a unique setting. If anything, go for the quirky names of the dishes (masterfully named after great movies). The food is not amazing, it is typical pub food. The staff were really new, they forgot parts of our order. This would be easily resolved with writing down orders instead of trying to remember them.A fun experience for the horror movie lovers.

Quaint little Halloween themed spot. Generic pub food and excellent choices of beer on tap. The washroom being on the second floor is a bit of a pain but the wonderful servers make up for it.

In an industry that is losing it's flare for hospitality, this place is everything you could ask for!! Food and drinks are AMAZING but where they shine is their genuine service. Welcoming, accommodating, kind and friendly. Not to mention their horror theme is perfectly matched to their decor and fun themed cocktails! Don't skip this place!!

I come here on Sundays for Killer Comedy with host Heather Morgan. The show is always a lot of fun with local comics and headliners from out of town. The food is really good. I reccomend the ribeye burger. The fries are hand cut! The place is a horror themed bar, thus the name "Killer Comedy". It's adorned with horror movie posters and scary mannequins. If you like horror movies, Comedy and gourmet pub food that has have fun horror names like, "The hills have fries" you should check this place out. Warm and friendly staff and owners.

Was disappointed. I LOVE horror, but went there Tonight and they have no choices for drinks! Was unimpressed. Too bad the management is not bringing in enough choices. No Southern comfort, no Ameretto? Waitress was clueless

What an amazing place! Located on Whyte Ave in Old Strathcona. This is a locally owned bar with a horror theme. Geordie is the owner and is a hell of a nice guy. Nicole was our waitress, and despite eating all of the soup and wings, she was first class. The Frankenburger was in the top three of burgers I have ever eaten for sure. Give a small local place a try, I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

Had a great time. Enjoyed the food and the drinks. Fun atmosphere and a great staff. The waitress that served us on Saturday was awesome. I will definitely go back again.

Friendly service at a unique Horror Bar on Whyte Avenue! Out door patio in the summer, or indoor seating! This allegedly haunted building has a horror theme including old movie posters, old black and white horror movies playing on large screen TVs, and a decent bar menu. Reasonable prices. I enjoyed a summer evening on the patio eating Nachos with coffee and Bailey's with friends!

Great service and solid drinks. I'm a horror fan but I'm not sure it adds much to the ambiance or vibe of the bar though. Either way it's a great spot to grab a drink on Whyte!

Well done! Nice atmosphere, but even I'm not old enough to really jump on the original island of dr. Moreau. Other than that, the suds were crisp, and the food top notch

Thursday has great music but the service isn't the best. I think maybe after covid places are hard to staff. I will give it another chance.

Absolutely incredible restaurant/pub probably one of the more unique spots in the city, definitely come here if you're a fan of horror films.Great place for first dates as there is so much to look at! Some restaurants are so boring, not this one.We came here on Friday the 13th and they had Friday the Thirteenth playing on the TV and held a draw for a pretty sick Jason mask.We were served by a guy named Leon and he was very attentive and friendly. Good energy from him!
