A literal watering hole in-the-wall in a block of downtown renowned for significant historic preservations. You'll meet some of the greatest hard-boiled social bartenders if visiting during the day, or night. Great live music and entertainment in a plethora of genres, from metal to rock to electronic to themed drag or burlesque and even a twisted circus spectacle or two. There's some vlt's and a pool table in a separate room adjoining the bar. No kitchen but there...
Great staff, fun events, very supportive of the local music community. Raves, local bands, epic cyber punk experiences. The owner is a great guy with lots of enthusiasm for allowing awesome events!
First time attending a comedy show here. Great venue! Friendly bartender, great dive bar atmosphere with comfortable seating. Sound system was excellent for the show too. I don’t normally like to visit downtown because it isnt convenient for me and/or I don’t always feel safe. This place may change that for me. Close parking and actually easy for me to get to from the west end.
Only food I noticed though was bags of chips but they may offer more.
