I have no idea how it happened, but this place has become my own personal Cheers. The food was always good but the new revamped menu took it to great, and whether packed to the gills for a karaoke night/hockey game or a hanging with a handful of regulars on a chill winter sunday, the atmosphere is guaranteed to feel like your favorite pair of pajama pants. The staff here do everything thing they can to make you feel at home (and sometimes like they're hosting a house party), and you really can't ask for more. I've been coming here for almost two years and this has easily become my favorite ever bar. If you're looking for the perfect downtown hole in the wall, come see Dez and Bradon at the Gardens.

Went on a Friday. It was karaoke night. Had a great time. Everyone was friendly. Really nice local bar. They have daily specials as well.
We were a party of 6 people who went to watch the Oilers game on the suggestion of a colleague. What a great suggestion!As with almost all my reviews, it's the staff who make or break the customer service experience. The majority of the staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. A great time was had by all in our party.Look forward to returning in the very near future.

Great food, awesome service, and lots of options to have fun with your friends. I played darts and billiards and it was so much fun. One point of improvement is the menu design, it was difficult to read and printed on a plain paper.

It's a real shame to rate this place so low, since most of the night was great. However, their new bartender/server Sarah is an absolute NIGHTMARE and may just be the WORST STAFF IN THE CITY! She created a problem with a member in our group with her rude and unnecessary comments, then escalated her own problem to a point of abrasive and rude comments. Will never return here as long as she is employed here! Heard rumours about her from other staff and customers as well, so our experience was clearly NOT an isolated one...

went in late on a Tuesday night after a concert, and it was fantastic staff couldn't have been any nicer and welcoming, just what we needed. kitchen was still open and we had a pizza that hit the spot. amazing job all!!
