My experience today was very poor, specifically regarding the shorter lady working in the kitchen. Last week when I went there and ordered a pizza, I was offered a gluten-free option, which was wonderful because that’s exactly what I was looking for, but did not see it on the menu. This time when I went in to place my order requesting a gluten-free pizza, it was immediately turned down saying they do not offer that. I had inquired about being offered it last time and they said they never had it. So I mentioned, cautiously, that it was offered to me last time - so has it been taken from the menu?… - This is where the kitchen staff looked up and said very sternly that it’s not on the menu, therefore it is not an option - and put her head down and did not wait for any sort of reply. I stood there, feeling stupid because I had received this item before… and so the rude kitchen lady had decided to acknowledge me again by stating they had two leftover gluten pitas prior and that’s why it was offered previously - and that again, if it’s not on the menu, it’s something they do not offer.

Well guess - it wasn’t on the menu when I was originally offered it last week and was able to have that, so why would I assume any differently this week? It was a honest inquiry.

She was extremely rude, and I instantly thanked them and walked out; No wonder she’s in the back.

I enjoyed a raspberry chocolate scone and a coffee the other day from this quaint and refreshing space. I just discovered this thoughtful message on my cup as I was about to discard it. I go to many cafés around the city and must commend you for being consistently great since I started coming here 7 years ago. And I still can't wait to return because of the prices the people and the quality of product.

Been to City Hall a 100 times and didn’t know this place existed! The food was great, the service friendly and the prices were very reasonable! Bacon pickle pizza was surprisingly delicious! If they are not sold out, try a raspberry white cheese scone or the jalapeños cheddar scone!

New favourite cafe to work in! So spacious, bright, and colourful. I was here on a weekday morning and the place was quiet. A wide selection of foods for a cafe, and decently priced.

Tucked away within the City Hall square, this unassuming hidden gem is a true treasure that everyone needs to uncover!

I called to make sure they were open for lunch one lovely Thursday, and was greeted with a genuine excitement that people were wanting to visit their little restaurant.

Four of us attended and were greeted with the biggest smile of the gentleman behind the counter. He knew instantly who we were and directed us to our table. The atmosphere was so clean, crisp, and warm.

We then ordered our meals. My vegetarian friend had their falafel sandwich, my other two friends had the bison bowls, and I had the turkey club sandwich on homemade sourdough. If these weren't amazing enough (real turkey breast too!!), the fries had a nice texture and hint of spice too.

I cannot wait to get back here! An amazing experience in food, service, and atmosphere - all the while assisting the proprietors in providing real support and life / work skills to youth! (I'm grossly simplifying the amazing work this place is doing. Check them out!!!)

Very clean area and positive atmosphere. I was served with a warm greeting! The food may have been a little too seasoned for my liking, but it was still good regardless.

I work across the street & usually no time for lunch, so had not been in for a long time. Was reminded how great the folks are there, how yummy the food, generous portions, always high quality & fresh. Friendly service & kind folks were the highlight of my day!

Greasy, bland, teeny tiny portions. The lunch was about the portion of a kids lunchable pack and not even enjoyable.
