The LAST thing that l ever expected to do was to give The Lingnan a negative review. l gave been a regular customer of their's. More than that, I'm a frequent customer. I can't fault their food. It's absolutely delicious. That being said, I'm extremely disappointed in their sense of entitlement. After a long day at work, and feeling under the weather, l came in hoping to enjoy a bowl of soup, because that's all that l wanted. Love coming to the Lingnan semi-regularly. Had a wonderful buffet and took some Dry Spicy and Szechuan Green Beans home to family afterwards. The staff are unfailingly friendly and respectful. Proprietors Amy and Kinman I count as friends, they and the Quon family are wonderful Edmontonians and deliver the highly personable touch to the dining experience. Dine-in, Take-out or get it delivered, worth your time to give the Lingnan a try if its dine-out or 'finger-cooking' night.
