I looked on Google to see where’s a good place for Chinese food and saw that Lingnan had great reviews so I went there to try it out today. I ordered for pick up, the person on the phone was efficient and communicated well, I get to the restaurant within 30 min and was greeted by Kinman behind the cashier (I hope I’m spelling it right) and he was so pleasant and made me feel welcomed. Kinman educated me on the Chinese food there as I was a little uneducated and took his time telling me what I wanted to know and he made me feel like family not just a customer and I thought that in itself is not common these days! I told him I drove from spruce grove to Edmonton for the Chinese food and I will tell you it was well worth it!! I have had Chinese food from spruce grove to other provinces to Vancouver and this place is in my top 2. I will be coming back again soon 😊

Have been a big fan of Quon Dynasty since it came out, so , when coming to Edmonton, I had to check out The Lingnan, and let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed. The staff was exceptional. So nice and caring . Food was top notch, so tasty and the decor and restaurant itself was so beautiful. But the cherry on the cake , Amy ! Man , seeing her and Kinman was so great . They were super nice and caring , made my night . Would of loved to see the Miles , Mandy and Marty but still a great great experience. Thank you all

I was in Edmonton for a couple days and tried The Lingnan at the Taste of Edmonton festival, so I had to come to the restaurant. I absolutely loved everything about it!
The Lingnan an old school garishly decorated Chinese restaurant that has been open for 80 years. The food was delicious, the decor was amazing, and the service was attentive and friendly. I had a also had nice chat with the owner/manager (I didn't catch his name) who was really nice and gracious.
If I'm ever back in Edmonton, this is the first restaurant I visit!

We ordered takeout for a family birthday and everything was beyond our expectations!!! The ordering process was easy and friendly people followed up! It was ready at promptly 3:30!! Best deep fried wontons we have ever had!! The dry spicy chicken was out of this world!! Even the chicken balls were amazing!!! Would recommend!! 10/10 🌟🌟🌟

Despite calling right before close they were happy to take our order and even managed to rush the delivery for us. They made a point to call to give us an updated delivery time and after a long day of work we were extremely grateful. On top of the great service the food was fantastic!! Easily the best chicken balls we’ve ever had, and everything overall was really good. Amazing, 10/10

Amy is the best, I love how she always checks on everyone and asking us how is the food. Food is amazing, ended up having 3 servings just because how good the food is. We were there to celebrate one of my relatives birthday last month and she let us stay in this private dining room and it's only like 15 of us where we just have the entire room to ourselves. 10/10 would recommend

Me and the wife went for the first time on July 28th in the evening and it was awesome! Super delicious food awesome and very friendly and attentive service! The resteraunt inside was really cool looking! Loved the decor and vibe! Bit of a drive for us because we live in a small rural community southwest of edmonton but totally worth the drive! Only downside was that we wish their was more of a variaty for the buffet but all the buffet food was top quality and really really good! Definitely be coming back!

We have been long time patrons for over 20 years. The last two times we ordered we were disappointed by the quality of the food. This is very unusual. We have never experienced poor quality food . Your prices are more expensive and usually that’s been because your food is always second to non. Our rice was dry, the noodles dry as well and even the signature dishes not good. Very disappointed and sad hopefully you can get back your quality!!!
