The Melting Pot Edmonton

Dec 6th, 2025 had reservations for 5 at 6:30pm. At arrival they said they were behind and we would have to wait 15m. We waited until 7:10pm and they still hadn’t seated us!! So we left. Other people also had reservations that were not honoured.

Terrible customer service, no communication, and the waiting room isn’t near big enough especially considering they are unable to run the restaurant on time.

Will never come back ever again! Especially considering the place is super expensive anyway.

Update: They called us at 7:28pm but we were already seated and eating at 3 Amigos Mexican restaurant! Which was wayyyy better than the Melting Pot anyway and way cheaper!! and way better service and nicer people!

Amazing experience! Always Love coming here! Not cheap but not overly expensive either! Im happy paying a little more for amazing and attentive service from the staff. The little happy birthday surprise was a really awesome touch and definitely made my fiancé's time here super special!

Haven't been in years and we went for date night/our birthdays. It's definitely an experience and not a quick outing but it was a good time and worth the money. I had a grapefruit citrus margarita which was SO good. We even got a cute little plate saying happy birthday with candles at the end of our meal. The service was wonderful and would definitely recommend.

The six of us had an amazing time at the Melting Pot celebrating my daughter's University Graduation. The room was private and had the perfect ambiance for our event. The servers had a great sense of humour, knew the menu, and served us with the greatest respect. I would most definitely return to the Melting Pot for another dining event. Thank you!

If you leave hungry, you have no one to blame but yourself. We had the full dinner of four courses. The cheese and the chocolate courses run until you are out of cheese and chocolate in the pot which is lovely. Staff were prompt, kind and welcoming. A great experience if you aren't Ina hurry and are ready to slow down and be sociable.

The service staff were wonderful!! I didn't expect the chocolate covered strawberries as I usually get an email for them and did not get one. However, I did ask and left a note requesting and hoping for one for our 38th wedding anniversary and we were definitely delighted about getting them to take home!! 💞 thank you “The Melting Pot” for being so kind and thoughtful!! We really appreciated it!!

Leo was our waiter. He was beyond amazing and attentive. When he wasn’t available the step in waiters where where just as great! Thank you for helping us celebrate our friends bday!

It has been a few years since I last visited Melting Pot. If it was better then, it's even better today. The food experience was absolutely amazing. However, the staff from our Server to the entire team serving us WAS top notch! Late evening and they were still smiling and just overall friendly. The store friendliness across the board, can't compare. Amazing group! Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Went to the melting pot tonight for birthday dinner. We were not even 5 minutes into our car ride home and the food poisoning hit. We always cook our food at least a minute over the cooking times they give and check the colour but something wasn’t good.

Our experience at the melting pot was fantastic! Our server Voss, made our night extra wonderful with her recommendations and excellent service. She even let us move to the lounge to watch the rest of the blue jays game, and the bartender in the lounge was exceptional also. 10/10, will be back next time we are in Edmonton!!!

Such a pleasant and unique experience! Make sure you are super hungry and give yourself at least 2 hours. My friend and I had a Blue Rodeo concert to get to and had to rush the dessert portion....we will know the next time to allow for more time. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive, 5 star service, 5 star food, 5 star atmosphere, 5 star company! I will definitively be coming here again when in Edmonton the next time!

The service was amazing. Our favourite part was the cheese fondue and the chocolate fondue. I tried the oil as a cooking method this time and didn't enjoy as much as some of the other yummy options I've tried before.

We had Leandro P as our waiter he was amazing, very on top of everything, prompt and polite. The atmosphere/setting, the quick service and food was all phenomenal! The experience is different, really fun and neat. Definitely recommend 10/10
