Very welcoming environment. Staff and management were professional and accommodating, fulfilling our every request during a very busy lunch time Christmas turkey buffet. The buffet was continuously replenished and the food was hot and delicious. We were seated by the fireplace during a cold wintery day. The ambience was warm and inviting. Our server, Rhonda K, was engaging and treated us like special guests.
Service was great at first but dropped off as the evening went on. Food was not up to par for the Mill, wings overdone, escargot too salty. No door prizes or special promotions as advertised, free drink was it.
I called the day of our reservation to make them aware that we would be celebrating two anniversaries, a 50th and ad 47th and that I had hoped that we would be given some special consideration to help make our evening memorable. Quite the opposite happened. We were given the closest table to the door. No complementary dessert was offered. The waiter never acknowledged the occasion. Disappointing.
