Haven’t been to Next Act for a few years - sorry. But we were quickly reminded why we always loved the place. Great food, great atmosphere, great staff, great beer selection. We stopped in for the Burger it Forward promotion to support the Food Bank and had The Critic. It was great and we will be back soon.

The service was good and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the price. The burger was stale and dry, and the clam chowder was underwhelming and not served warm. Overall, this feels like just another overpriced spot on Whyte Ave that doesn’t deliver on food quality.

Mac and cheese (regular and vegan) are both great dine in and take out! Skillet cookies are super delicious!! When busy, service can be slower.
Stopped by Next Act for Saturday brunch/lunch. Very relaxed atmosphere. Great window booths. The veggie eggs Benny was scrumptious. The beef in the donair was tender and well seasoned. The menu has many good options to choose from. The chili with andouille sausage and too many ingredients to list sounded amazing.

My favourite restaurant in Edmonton. Been going here for a couple decades. The staff is the best you’ll find in the city. Food is reasonably priced, and very good. Atmosphere is on point! Next act knows how to do it right, and one of the managers, Sam, is a delight.
