Great service and friendly staff. Wish this franchise was in Australia. I heard it was in the past. Needs a second chance.

I personally am not a huge fan of most of the menu but the food is always fresh and this is my kids favourite restaurant by a landslide! We just did our back to school lunch trip here today and the service was very fast. (What I assume was) The owner made sure we were well taken care of a couple times and finished our visit with a lollipop for each kid :)

This nostalgic Italian eatery in downtown Edmonton offers a memorable dining experience with old fashioned decor and hearty dishes. The pasta is tender with rich sauces, the garlic bread is warm and buttery, and the entrees like lasagna and chicken parmigiana are satisfying. The service is friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. I enjoyed a dinner with family…the atmosphere feels like stepping back in time with quirky antiques and a cozy vibe. Overall, a wonderful spot for comfort food and a relaxed evening with friends or family.

Hadn’t been here for over 20 years and was pleasantly surprised to see it was still open and just as good as it was back then. Will go back sooner. Great food and value.

Updated review:
If you only have 1 hour for lunch, I would not recommend this place. They will tell you that you can pre-order, but you actually can't. They will reconfirm your order in-person and bring your meal out 35 to 40 minutes after you arrive, which completely defeats the timesaving purpose of pre-ordering. Because of this, budget at least 90 minutes for your 1 hour lunch break.

Original review:
I've dined at this location a few times, but it is not really for me. The food was fine, but not exceptional. Good venue for gatherings (pre-pandemic) and remains a popular casual spot for families and the downtown office lunch crowd.

We love the lunch set here, it includes a soup or salad, sourdough bread, a main dish, ice cream and a coffee or tea. It's so satisfying even though the size of the main is smaller than a regular order. For the soup, you can upgrade to other soups like clam chowder. The lasagna was very good! And the ice cream was okay too.

Happy hour is worth it and the food quality is perfection. Had the lunch chicken con Pollo, Manicotti, and appetizer, all were filling while being delicious.

I recently visited the Old Spaghetti Factory, and I have to say it was a perfect experience—10/10! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. What made it even more special was that it was my birthday, and the staff went out of their way to make the day memorable. They surprised me with a cake, which was such a thoughtful touch, and even gave me a little gift that included 10% off my next visit. It really made me feel valued as a customer.

The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a few pasta dishes, and the Alfredo pasta really stood out—it had the perfect balance of creamy richness and flavor that left us wanting more. The restaurant also has a kids’ menu, making it a great spot for families.

The interior is stunning, with a charming area designed like a train, complete with cozy two-seater dining inside. It’s such a unique and fun touch that adds to the overall experience. The combination of thoughtful service, incredible food, and a beautiful, creative space makes the Old Spaghetti Factory a place I will happily return to again and again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Dropped by this location while my folks were in town visiting on Monday afternoon (Aug 11). They love the OSF in Toronto so I wanted to show them our iteration.

Upon entering, we were quickly greeted by Caitlyn followed by the on-duty manager (sorry, I didn't catch or I forget the fella's name) for seating.

Both were friendly, pleasant and treated us well throughout our dining experience.

The food was served fresh and 'piping hot' from the kitchen. Portions were filling and satisfying.

Caitlyn was exceptional in providing us excellent customer service, filling emptying water glasses etc..., checking in and ensuring all was well throughout the meal, treating us like any good host would in their own home.

The dining area was clean, as were the washrooms and all other aspects of the restaurant. If you have a small to large group I recommend inquiring about dining within the 'streetcar' in-house!

In conclusion, Caitlyn you are a gem! Thank you for making our visit a very pleasant experience for my folks and myself. They are looking forward to the next time they are able to visit and so am I.
