Had a date night here, great drinks, awesome wings and great food. Our server Trisha was awesome, very socialable and welcoming. We had a Great night out.

We met with a group of friends here last night and was a bit disappointed.

They were out of Coors Original, out of all their Seachange Beer (Death Wave, The Wolf, Prairie Fairie, Red Ale), out of cider, and were unable to make to make a cocktail listed on their menu. As it was Wednesday, wings were half price from $20 to $10, but no drink specials.

I ended up drinking two pints of Draught Coors Lite (not my drink of choice by any means but the draught choices were severely limited,) and an order of wings, and it still cost me $30.

Also, the vibe here was a bit of a mess. You look around the place and there's broken VLTs, a broken jukebox, a couple TVs here and there, and the washrooms were uncomfortably cold.

Thankfully the waitstaff made up for the visit, providing decent service and lots of laughs.

Food is very good with a full menu. Sport televisions always on and nice selection of draft. Friendly attentive service as well.

We came here for the first time as a party of three at a time of day when it wasn't busy.

Pros:
- Service was fairly fast and friendly
- Food came to us in a reasonable amount of time and was hot
- Excellent decor

Cons:
- Music was a bit loud making it somewhat difficult to carry a normal conversation and hear what everyone was saying
- The gravy was thin but okay
- There was an automatic 18% gratuity added to each of our bills which we weren't informed about ahead of time and nothing was said. I actually gave a tip on top of this without knowing about the 18% until after I got my receipt, so my tip ended up being more than 30%! Also, there was an upcharge of $2.50 for the gravy which I did not see at all on the menu

In conclusion, although the experience itself was good, I won't be coming back just on principle when an automatic gratuity is being added and also that the waitress accepted an additional tip on top of this without saying a word about the 18% that was already added to the bill. I understand that there are some cheapskates out there who don't tip at all, but I am not one of them, and I don't appreciate being taken advantage of in this manner and won't be coming back as a result. Especially when there were only three of us, not six. If this policy of an automatic gratuity is reversed, I may consider coming back as the food was good.

They are poorly prepared for musical events. Sell more tickets than seating arrangements and most poor hospitality. Lack staff on events

First time at THE SPOT. Amazing experience! Great ambiance, bar food was top notch! Service was very good. Very good drink selection. Definitely will go back! Went for a show/live band.

Yesterday I attended an event here and I was surprised at the c grade level of service that was offered. Why are you guys hosting an event and making so many ppl pay for the tickets if you event don't have the ability to cater them. I waited for 2 hours for the food I had ordered. There were only servers hosting the entire restaurant. Horrible experience!!

A bit disappointed with our Christmas group that came in a week ago. The bill wasn't accurate and the food was luke warm. We are very disappointed that your place isn't open on Christmas Eve as we have had a group of friends go out to have drinks on Christmas Eve at the old Provincial Bar for years now. We were told to give you guys a second chance and a group of us were planning on coming by on the 24th but it's not open

I was there last night with my sister. We joined group that was at the table between the door and the bar. This morning I pull my receipt out and see that I was charged for too many drinks!!! I called my friend who already paid beforehand for some and when we put together the math, it doesn't work at all. We were charged for the same things more that once!!! Not acceptable and not the way how you're supposed to do business!!! It was a younger, black guy who was serving us. On top of everything, my friend tells me after we left, he came with the machine to the table again and my friend had to tell him that it was paid for. Which means he would have changed him again for some random drinks!!!! This is so sad... I had two gyn tonics, no way I cannot remember stuff!

Had a wonderful night! Karaoke is back on Wednesdays and Rich is an excellent host! Shout out to the amazing serving staff, and Justin for making it an unforgettable opening night! Looking forward to seeing the karaoke revival in this part of town, definitely worth checking out!

Absolutely loved my experience here! The atmosphere was perfect cozy yet lively, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The drinks were top-notch, especially the signature cocktail, and the food was delicious and fresh. You can tell they really care about quality and service. Definitely one of the best spots [spot] in Edmonton! Can’t wait to come back again soon.
