If you like gaming, this is an Awesome place to go!!! Fun!!! There is also food and drinks.
Me and a friend attended the rec center and had dinner We did not do any of the fun stuff this time It was more of a check it out kind of scenario. It was definitely a bit loud due to the music and all of the games of course so if you are easily overstimulated perhaps this is not the place for you. The food was pretty good the service was a touch slow but they looked maybe stretched a bit thin. Might make a point of going back in the future for the full experience
We came to The Rec Room yesterday with high hopes — we had reservations and arrived early with friends and cousins to catch the Edmonton Oilers game. Despite being one of the first groups there, we were given awful seats with a poor view of the screens. When we asked for better seating, we were met with a dismissive attitude from the host, who seemed visibly unhappy to be there.
The food was another letdown: the wings labeled as “jumbo” were anything but, the pizza was bland and unsalted, and the burgers were dry and underwhelming. To top it off, everything came out cold. Drinks were overpriced, which might’ve been easier to overlook if the service or atmosphere had made up for it — but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
Worst of all, I couldn’t help but notice a subtle but uncomfortable tone of discrimination. It left us feeling unwelcome, and that is simply unacceptable in any setting.
This place needs a serious management overhaul. Until then, we won’t be back — and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a respectful, enjoyable night out.
What a waste of time and money,
Half of the games were not even working,
Rather go to chucky cheese
Was fantastic to see lots of techs on the floor today ensuring the games were working well. Nice to see some new games too!
A couple games were not working but this is understandable with the flow of traffic this establishment sees!
Great job, Great Improvement
Great eats and good times. Nice place for a corp event or team building.
I recently visited the Rec Room with my son, on my Birthday, to play some pool. The pool tables were so unlevel the balls would all roll to one hole. We tried another and it wasn't any better. Every pool cue was broken as well. Very expensive for a poor experience. Decided to get a glass of beer....9.00 dollars! After pool we decided to have a game of air hockey. Took all our credits but gave us no game. Tried the pitching game next. Didn't work properly. I understand maintenance is a huge variable cost but is essential for repeat customers. Never again will I go back there.
Great place for kids fun!

I had really bad experience ar this place today. They should train there staff. The girl at bowling desk was too rude to talk. I will never visit this place next time.
Most of the mechanical or non digital games were broken. Unclean and a disappointment

Food was aight, but the burger was absurdly dry. A&W's impossible burger somehow knocks theirs out of the park.
Music is very loud and inescapable, and our party ended up leaving early because of it. Bring ear plugs and a snack and it's a decent arcade/activity center
Vegetarian options: Counted 5 or 6 vegetarian mains, only 1 or 2 default vegan. Definitely workable

Showed up for a reservation and got stared at by the wait staff for 5 minutes. No one came to bring us to a table or even say someone would be with us shortly. Had a decent experience before but when you get zero service, not even bad service I can't justify spending money there.

Last night my friend ordered himself another pony of coors light (27$), and then we watched the bartender take other people's unfinished beers and poor them in to a new glasss and he actually serves it to him thinking we didn't see. What's crazy about this situation is that my friend gave him 30$ in tips from the 3 drinks he previously ordered. Anyway we called the manager over told him what happened and then we proved by ordering another coors light put the two glasses side by side and the colors didn't match so the manager compt him that beer. My friend didn't want me to say anything but seeing this has left a sour taste in my mouth because we spent over 200$ each last night.

All the food in this place caters to the average diets and TONS of Vegetarian food....I wonder why, we all know!.......There are 2 items people with Celiac disease can eat.. This is a big let down and is not an inclusive experience.

Great time. Wings and baked pretzels were super delicious. Perfectly crispy wings. Popcorn was perfect. Decent beer selection. Nachos were meh. Very dry and had cilantro. Would have preferred salsa on them. Cheese sauce may have helped but it looked awful and I wasn't going to push my luck. Boneless chicken wasn't bad. Poutine was very good. No complaints on the pizza.
