I've been coming here for the last 7 years and everything is always great! Never did come on a Friday. The boyfriend and I had the best time and were treated with the best service. The food and drinks were awesome as was the entertainment. Can't wait to return for another date night!

My favorite Mexican restaurant in town. They have a diverse Vegan/plant based menu which includes nopales (which I love and make at home often), their virgin and standard margs are fantastic, and service is lovely. We go every chance we get!Vegetarian options: Full veg/vegan menu offered!Kid-friendliness: Great chips and salsas for the kiddos.

Eat here. Bring friends.Guac - A perfect mix of ingredients and flavours that go so well with the chips.Queso - Very nice consistency and preparation.Tacos - Distinct flavours and meats that each stand alone and with the several varieties of salsa. Try each combination.Platters - Try all the things! The only disappointment is a small stomach that can't try it all in one sitting, which is saved by coming back for more.Decor and atmosphere - Party in the front, different party in the back. Food arrived quickly, but the space invited us to stay and enjoy. ¡Ay, ay, ay, me gusta!Kid-friendliness: The servers are very accommodating to young ones.

As authentic as it can get in Edmonton?Portions aren’t huge and it seems a bit pricey for what you’re getting. I’ve been searching for real Mexican food and it’s hard to find in Canada- this is close, but not quite there. If you are a regular traveller to the southern US or Mexico, you know what I’m talking about.Very friendly staff and beautiful restaurant.

I'll have to give this place another try. Plenty of recommendations and great reviews but my visit here was meh. It just wasn't my night I guess.I would avoid the shareable dishes as they aren't really shareable and just awkward to divvy out. Specifically the Molcajete Flamdado. How do you share half a steak or a juvenile lobster tail? Is there an etiquette to sharing a single cob of corn between 3-4 people?I get what they are trying to do but it just seems poorly thought out. Plus the minimal favours within the bowl just blended together and it all tastes the same. I would say this dish is best for one person with a large appetite.Atmosphere was nice, inside is nicely decorated and gave us good Mexican vibes.Service was painfully slow, we had to flag down our waitress numerous times as she didn't bother to check in on us once.In conclusion, it's tough to fairly rate without trying the tried and true classics like tacos, quesadillas and such but this visit was a 2.5 for now.

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD! I live in Toronto and would walk to Edmonton just to go to this restaurant again. Everything from service to food was amazing. Their virgin margaritas are the best I've ever had. But the biggest reason I would go back is their tres leches cake BEYOND WORDS SO GOOD. Definitely recommend.
