Such a cozy spot. The coffee was excellent, and while the sandwich was just okay, it still hit the spot. The warm decor and great music made it the perfect little break from the cold. I’ll definitely stop by again.

The Woodrack Café is giving cozy-cute bookstore meets caffeine-powered hug, and honestly? I’m here for it. The coffee is very tasty, the vibes are immaculate, and the aesthetic makes you feel like you should be journaling about your emotions or writing a soft-launch romance novel.

Now… Sundays.
Love the place, but baby, the service moves slower than my metabolism after a cheat day. Still worth the wait every time, just maybe toss a second barista behind the bar so the line doesn’t look like we’re waiting for Taylor Swift tickets.

I come by Woodrack quite frequently (and have for years) and though it's changed quite a lot, I still love it. I feel like sometimes it's easy to miss as the storefront faces out onto the alley, and OSFM, but it's worth the little hop over 83rd. Great coffee!

Finally guys!!! A Real Barista Coffee place in Edmonton. Here you will know the difference of a flat white / latte / cappuccino. Great great place.

It was a full-circle moment walking into Woodrack Café—nestled in the space that once housed Beadworks, right across from where I worked from 2007 to 2013. I was at the Old Strathcona Farmers' Market just last Saturday, but today I discovered that Woodrack has quietly been serving the community for three years now—though the building itself has been around for a decade, as the solo barista kindly shared amidst the bustle.
My friend and I had coffee and a London Fog—both comforting and well made, perfect for the mellow, lived-in ambience of the place. Despite the rush, the barista held it down with calm efficiency, and the whole space had a welcoming rhythm that made me want to linger.
Old haunts may evolve, but when they’re replaced by thoughtful cafés like Woodrack, the change feels more like continuity than loss. Noteworthy that since OSYS closed the crime rate has gone down in the area and #Varscona theatre must be so relieved!!!
